3 Men Movers - Austin

This was the worst moving experience of my life. They showed up hours earlier than expected, smelled like weed. I was just moving to a new unit in my apartment complex. An easy move. They rushed the job and broke my entertainment system and bookshelf. Took 1.5 hours when I had paid for 2. If they had slowed down it would have been done right. They refused to give me a discount and had one of their guys offer to bring me cut glass for the entertainment system. Extremely unprofessional and handled very poorly.

Let me start by saying if i could have given negative stars I would have. I have never experienced something like this. And I have moved over 10 times in my life. The day before my supposed "mOve" they email me to confirm and text me confirming my driver and that they will call between 12-1pm to tell me exact arrival time, great! So you would think.... The day of the move, we sit, waiting 12pm, 1pm goes by we think maybe they are running late?

Worst moving experience I've ever had. I used 3 man movers twice when I was in Houston. The service was great. Movers were very professional. However, this is the first time I used their service in Austin. Not sure if they have different standards here. The entire moving process was not efficient at all and took much longer than it's supposed to, I have much less stuff and much shorter route compared my previous movings, but it took 3 additional hours!

This company over charged me for a move, purposely stalled after realizing the move would not be as long as they’d hoped, broke my furniture and offered me $25 to replace a coffee table. After the guy broke the coffee table, he lied and said he didn’t then left after propping the coffee table up. They still have not called me back to discuss being reimbursed for this.

I hired 3 Men Movers twice. The first time was great service so I hired them again. I am now sitting at 14 hours waiting for these movers to finish moving my 2300 sq ft home. They still have at least 3 more hours to go. They also damaged my furniture and no one seems to care. I spoke with Alvin who said they could give me $150 discount. I have moved multiple times and this is by far the worse service I have every experienced.

Do not ever book 3 men movers for your move, if you care about your mental sanity. I had a move booked for 8 am on Saturday. This was a very intentional time because I live on an extremely busy street on downtown Austin and parking can be difficult to find. I also live in an apartment so elevators can get busy, so I thought 8 am would be a great time to get everything done quickly. At 8:05 I still hadn’t heard from the movers. I was told they would call when they were on the way.

I cannot stress enough how much I would avoid 3 men movers in Austin. I feel like crying I get so upset when I think about this move. No mattress protectors, no floor coverings, no gloves, no consideration or respect for our things or our space. They used my Dyson air filter machine as a DOOR STOP, despite my pleas that they find something else (or bring a doorstop like other moving companies!) they eventually knocked it over and it’s broken.

Was the worst move of my life. Signed up for "first move" at 7 am they had one guy sick and did not show up until 5pm. They informed me that scheduled moves get canceled all the time and having no shows happen very often. I ended up moving half my house alone while no one could tell me what time to expect anyone. Instead of keeping my spot as a first move I was put at the end of the line while two other houses where moved. Was getting gaslighted left and right by everyone involved.
