In their own words
Poor experience. 6 items took 4+ hours despite being staged for easy move. Movers lacked tools (used my drill). Significant property damage: 4 spots in hallway and 3 deep gouges on my new bed’s base. They assembled the bed upside down and skipped the lift kit, risking further damage. While the crew was nice and honest about the damage, the incompetence was unprofessional. Would not recommend.
We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. Your move just took place this past Saturday, and our Quality Control Manager will be addressing any damages — they will be in touch soon if they haven’t already.
If I could rate less than 1 star I would. I have used 2 Men and a Truck in the past, and I was incredibly impressed by their professionalism and communication. In the two years since I've used them last I have told anyone and everyone about how great their services were. This time around everything started off great. They were well within their arrival window, communicated openly, everything was moving along quickly. When we were getting ready to leave, my husband's car battery was dead.
Damaged my apartment. Had to pay an extra fee for drywall damage upon moving out due to that damage. They took their time and then also charged me an extra 30 mins because of rounding up and down on the time they started/finished. The two guys were huffing and puffing the whole time, as if it were a burden.... I should have just sold my furniture and bought new after the move.... I was quoted around $300 or less, but charged over $560 for 2ish hrs of work for 5 items, including only 18 miles of travel/time.
I would not use this company again. Unfortuately they took 8 hours to even start my move to Houston area. They sent 2 guys (one was sick) to move me from a 3/2.5 bath home to our new house in Houston area. Thanksfully a manager came to confirm why it was taking so long. We also had to buy our own truck via Penske becuase our stuff didnt fit in their truck. Very disappointed in this company and how they handled the move. Nobody even called me after or offered to reiumburse us for the major delays.
They moved quickly but damaged two items. I emailed photos to someone in their resolution department and never heard back.
I couldn’t do business with them. I thought this company will be great because of the high ratings. But I contacted them for a quote and the person I spoke with is rude, saying that my move is “last minute” in a tone that gave me bad vibes on my end. I haven’t said to that person why my move would be “last minute” if I had known the exact date to our move if I had known when exactly is our newly constructed house will be completed and I didn’t expect our house needed more repairs after having it inspected which…
Please Read Before You Hire Them. My Honest Experience I’m sharing this so others don’t go through what I did. I hired Two Men and a Truck for a simple move just a one-bedroom apartment with no couch, and the new place was only half a mile away. It should’ve been quick and easy. But this company turned it into a frustrating and expensive experience. One of the movers was more interested in asking questions about our personal life than focusing on the job. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional.
Hi Fatima, We are sorry to hear of your move experience. Our records do indicate that we attempted to follow up with you on the day after your move. If you wish to discuss further, our Quality Assurance department can be reached at [phone removed] x4.
Typically you hire movers to make a stressful day quicker and easier, this was the exact opposite of my experience. My moving team had two very sweet guys who were incredibly slow movers. I’ve had two moves with Two Men and a Truck before, but this third one was abysmal. It took over twice as long as quoted and two different supervisors had to come out to keep the guys moving.
Isabelle, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry this move did not live up to the standard you experienced with us in the past. We understand how frustrating it is when a move takes longer than expected, especially on a day that is already stressful.

In their own words
Arrived early and got right to work. Very professional and helpful. I had used Two Men and a Truck twice before and had great results so contacted them again for quote to move daughter's household goods from a storage unit plus a stop at our house for a small amount of goods to a second floor apartment (no elevator). They don't waste anytime and are careful with everything. I definitely and highly recommend Two Men and a Truck.
That's great to hear, Tracy! We look forward to your next move with us!
I would use them again. This was the second time I used Two Men and a Truck. The first time was flawless, in-town, moving to a 2 bed apartment. The second time was less smooth. I had issues with their website which caused issues with the estimate. I called and talked to a person to make sure they could give me an accurate estimate. When the movers arrived, they had apparently not been told all the details but they took it in stride.
My sister recently used Two Men and a Truck to move into our new apartment, and I was present during the process of the move. Anthony and Paxton, the two movers who helped us, were very professional and efficient. They moved everything quickly—it only took them about two hours—and made sure to take great care with all the furniture. They even took things apart and put them back together perfectly once we got to the new place. One thing I really liked was how friendly and respectful they were.
We greatly appreciate your positive feedback and are thrilled to hear about your smooth moving experience with Anthony and Paxton. Thank you for recommending Two Men and a Truck!
We just used Two Men and a Truck for our move, and they made the whole experience so smooth and stress-free. Booking the appointment was super easy, and explaining what we needed to move was a breeze thanks to their helpful team. I really appreciated their time-based pricing—it was straightforward and totally fair considering how hard these guys work. AJ and Patrick were our movers, and they were amazing. They showed up on time, handled everything with care, and worked efficiently from start to finish.
Hi, Support. Thanks for taking the time to share your positive experience. We truly appreciate it!
