Updated review and removed a star after yesterday's call. I hate that this was such a bad experience. AND WAS $349 MORE THAN THE HIGHEST ESTIMATE THE MOVERS GAVE First, the movers were late. Their window was 12 PM to 2 PM. They weren't there to move us until 2:42 PM. Secondly, our move was quoted at 2.5 to 3.5 hours with two guys. The move took 7 hours (ended at past 9 PM). It would have gone even later - my partner and I started unloading with the movers over the last three hours of the move.
We are sorry to hear about the experience described in this review, although we feel we serviced this customer to the best of our ability. As stated, we did start this move about 45 minutes late. We value our customer's time and never want them waiting on us so we offer an on-time guarantee.
After the phone-call we received, where we were told we misread the estimate, so it was our fault, this is getting changed to a 1-star. After that phone call, I can't really be sure of what the point of that call *actually* was...because all it did was make me feel patronized. Two stars because we got our stuff and the movers were friendly. Minus 3 stars because: 1) Started 2.5 hours late. It started after we were quoted the move would be finished.

The company was the cause of my losing half of my belongings. On the day if the move, in my apartment, they decided they could not do move. The was scheduled days in advance. They claimed the apartment was too dirty. Pictures below: You be the judge. I am sure if I was a white woman, the outcome would had been radically different. You're probably wondering why I lost my stuff. That is because I could. It find a mover and had to take what I could in order to move out on time. NEVER USE THIS PLACE!

Got home to a blocked driveway. Asked them to move so I vould get in my own driveway. I pulled in my driveway. And they went back and blocked my driveway again. Didn't ask if me I was going any where or if anybody else needed to get in and out. Nope just did what they want VERY DISRESPECTFUL.

I have used Einstein Moving Company three times and this most recent time was the worst experience anyone could go through. I was first quoted just over $700 to move my two bedroom apartment to a two bedroom house. I was moving from a second floor apartment to a house with easy access. Granted, I have a family of three so there was a decent amount of boxes (approx 30 boxes) and furniture to move (2 beds, a couch set, entertainment center, etc). My biggest concern has always been moving the 80" Sharp TV I have.
Hi Chris, We are disappointed to see this review but completely understand your frustrations. We pride ourselves on top notch service before, during and after the move and we missed the mark so we apologize.
Paid a little over 1k for moving a 3 bedroom house into a storage unit 5 minutes down the road. Which is about twice as much as I would have preferred. Aside from that, just not a great experience. When the movers arrived I was very clear on what was and wasn't being moved - about 95% of the house was being moved into storage, and only things in one small corner were staying. After the truck was loaded, I saw inside that there were several things that the movers just decided not to pack for whatever reason.

I would warn anyone about thinking of hiring this group, specifically this location. My neighbor was just moving into our building and their drivers caused a complete disruption to the entire community. Their music, starting at around 9/9:30 AM on a Thursday, was so loud it sounded like it was coming from inside my apartment.

We contacted Einstein moving weeks in advance for a large home pack and move. The day of the move 2 guys showed up about an hour late. One of the guys moved so slowly I had to take over and send him to go do something else. This happened several times. Then when the other guy was taking apart my massage chair (it wouldn't fit through the door) he lost the parts. Almost 3 years later still never found them so now the chair just sits there.
We apologize that your experience with our service was only worthy of 3 star. Unfortunately, we can't find your booking to reach out directly. We would like to hear what went wrong and see if there is anything we can do to make up for it.

We had the pleasure of working with Matthew K, Khadi A, Elijah W., and Nicholas D. for our move. Prior to booking, we had a video call with someone from the moving company to show them the layout of our house and heavy items to get an estimate. They maintained communication via email and also provided information about prepping our freezer and refrigerator for the move. The movers communicated to us that they were on their way 30 minutes prior to the move and arrived right on time.

Huge shout out to Geno and Christian!! They arrived at my home on time, were very professional and very nice, and had such a can-do attitude the whole entire move! Christian especially was striving to keep me under budget the whole move, which was much appreciated. They consistently asked me if I was happy with how things were looking, and they always reassured me to let them know if there was anything they can do to help during every minute of that move!

From start to finish, as much as moving sucks, they made the experience so easy and almost enjoyable? lol Their communication was great. They send a couple check-in emails, which you should definitely read, because they are actually really funny.
