In their own words
Our experience wasn’t heavenly. In the moment we thought it was ok, good enough we gave them a sizable tip that we would come to regret as we unpacked. We had them pack most of our things. Maybe the others leaving the good reviews didn’t? I can’t figure out why our service was so vastly different! Our final price was 1/3 more than our quote, even though we had packed our entire kitchen (thankfully). The initial arrival process was unsettling.
I had a terrible experience with Heaven Movers. After receiving our payment, they informed us that they use independent contractors to handle the move — something that was not made clear upfront. Unfortunately, the contractors they used were unreliable and unprofessional. Even if subcontracting is part of their business model, Heaven Movers is ultimately responsible for the quality and reliability of the people they send. In my case, that responsibility was clearly neglected.
Hi Jameelah, every person on your move represents Heavenly. They're trained to our standards, wear our brand, and are fully accountable to us. That's how we operate. If you experienced poor service, reaching out to us directly would've given us the chance to make it right. We wish you had.
Called 4 times after I sent a request via website for a quote. Never got the quote. On the last call they said they didn't have my request uploaded in the system. Finally got a verbal quote, then they transferred me to owner for confirmation and I got a voicemail. Left a message, never got a call back. Called Rocket Movers, I had an appointment and a confirmation email within 5 minutes of my call. You snooze, you lose.
I wanted to be able to leave a good review for Heavenly Care, as they took my move last minute after another moving company no-showed. However, my post-move experience has not been as good as the pre-move. The good: Took a job with only a few days notice at a fair rate considering the bind I was in. Arrived on time both to load the truck and unload it. Movers were nice guys. The bad: several pieces of furniture suffered mild to moderate damage.
If you care about anything you own do not use Heavenly. If you simply care about things showing up and do not care whether they're broken and battered, then they're your movers. We spent ~$8000 ($7,676.17 to be exact) with Heavenly for what was supposed to be a full-service move out, storage, and then move back in. Also opted for the highest level of insurance, the platinum. They did over $7000 worth of damage.
Let’s set the record straight — we own our mistakes, but we won’t entertain exaggerated claims. Since your first complaint, we’ve made several attempts to resolve this — via phone, email, and text. You’ve chosen not to engage. If you’re genuinely seeking a resolution, participation is key.
They promised my move date would be available. By the time they gave me a quote, it was not. They told me I would get a flat rate quote plus hourly quote option. That is not how they quoted. I asked 3 times for them to confirm the move date immediately. They waited til the end of the day to let me know then would not pencil me in for the following day unless I woke my sick wife and child to get the credit card to secure the spot.
Landon, I'm sorry your experience was a difficult one. In the moving industry, because we have to call our crews in, and pay them, 24 hours in advance we cannot book anyone without guaranteed payment. We did acquire Lightning Movers.
I just finished my moving with them on 7/10. First of all, during the move process, everything was fine, although I think they were not as fast as they should be, I would still say we had smooth moving. However, today when I used my washer, the water was gushing out of drainage pipe, and my floor was full of water. When I signed the contract, they said connecting the washer was included. They did mention they were not plumber so they could not guarantee the plumbing issue.
Not a customer....just an innocent bystander neighbor who could not get into her garage because of the moving truck. I peeked in the truck and said "Hello. I need you to move your truck so I can get into my garage, please." Right off the bat, the driver started a hostile attitude with me saying I could have asked nicely. I said I did say it nicely. Then he put his hand up and said he didn't want to talk to me anymore, and started cursing under his breath.

In their own words
We hired Heavenly Movers at the end of March, and they did an incredible job from start to finish. The crew they sent — Cody, Kevin, and Nathan — were extremely respectful, professional, and had wonderful manners. They worked efficiently, communicated well as a team, and kept us updated throughout the process, even texting us about their ETA when they were delayed due to a major accident on Mopac. It was always “yes ma’am” and “no sir,” which was greatly appreciated.
Madeline, reviews like this remind us exactly why we love what we do — thank you so much. Cody, Kevin, and Nathan are rockstars! Having a Realtor's stamp of approval means everything to us. ⭐
Fair price and excellent service by Chris and his team We recently moved from Austin to Houston, quite a big move with a lot of stuff, but Heavenly has made it so much easier for us. First they sent a people to our house right away and give us an all-in estimate which takes away a lot of uncertainty in costs. When the day came, their team arrived on time, worked diligently, honest and fast while being very friendly and caring at the same time. I couldnt say enough good things about Chris, Adrian, Javi and Devin.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted to hear Chris, Adrian, Javi, and Devin made your move smooth and went the extra mile to help. Your recommendation means the world to us!
As my husband and I watched Nick, Darius, and Jojo help us move, he turned to me and asked, "is this what heaven will be like?" Our move was definitely heavenly! From setting up the move time to the loading and unloading of our move, everything was great! Setting up a time for the crew to come was quick and efficient. Joanne was very helpful in answering all my questions and quick to provide the estimates.
Hi Renee, this made us smile—what a wonderful way to describe your move! We’re so glad Nick, Darius, Jojo, and Joanne took such good care of you and made the whole process smooth. Thanks for sharing your experience and recommendation!
We could not have asked for a better moving experience! The team from Heavenly Moving, Jerrell, Donte, and Cody, did an outstanding job from start to finish. They were professional, kind, courteous, and incredibly hardworking. Moving can be a stressful and emotional process, but these guys made it as painless as possible. They treated our belongings with care, worked efficiently, and maintained a positive attitude the entire time. What impressed us most was how they went above and beyond in every way.
Wow, G.A. — "less like hired movers and more like family" is honestly the greatest thing we've ever read. Thank you so much for trusting us and for sharing this. Wishing your family all the best in your new home. 😊 …
