Many broken items. Their incompetent staff neglected to charge us for one of the days of packing, then, a week after the move was completed, they refused to pay for broken and damaged items until we paid the missing one day. Even though the contract had been signed and completed, we gracefully paid the missing day. The company still has refused to pay for the many broken items from our move, including an irreplaceable China vase. The movers themselves were very nice but I’ll equipped.

Hi Kat, We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Please know we had already begun working on your damage claim prior to this review. The billing oversight was addressed separately and appreciate you taking action on that so quickly.

Honestly cannot say what it’s like to use the service. However just had a terrible experience with their employees. First they were blocking the blocking disabled parking and paid for garages from residents. To then yell at a person asking them to move to access their paid for garages. While also blocking other people’s apartment door with the items being moved. That is rude to the other residents, and the customer whose items they are. Then to come and mock the ring camera and flip them off. Wildly unprofessional.

Marcus, We are truly disappointed and embarrassed to see this kind of feedback. Behavior like this is not what Einstein Moving is about. Our team members are the part we are most proud of and we work hard to make sure our culture is one that is about hustle and hard work full of professionalism…

Great for the first hour, by the end some boxes were upside down! they had an attitude about me, and it shouldn’t be popularity that drives them. just do the job. in the end i paid way more than the estimate, and i had a bad feeling about the whole experience. Welcome to Austin!

Hi Victoria, I appreciate you taking my call today and sorry to have caught you at a bad time. When you have time to speak with me at a later date I would like to get the opportunity to speak with you a bit more about the past experience you had with us so we can see how we can rectify the…

Went through all of my boxes of books, and the ones i specifically told them were in the hall closet, even opened the door and pointed them out, don't seem to be here. I'm incredibly frustrated and heartbroken that the latter portion of my library -- every book past the beginning of the R last names -- are just gone now because they didnt listen or pay attention. Will never use movers again.

Hi Veronica, I’m truly sorry to hear about the missing boxes, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We have the best claims department in the industry so once I have more information from you I will be able to pass that over to them so we can see what we can do to resolve this issue.

I moved just a few miles within Austin. Movers: 10/10. They were friendly, professional, careful, and very quick. Even jogging around sometimes since they are hourly. The moving experience itself was seemless and the guys were great. Office staff: 0/10. My move was scheduled at 8:30-9am. I called them at 8:55am to ask when they would be there and they informed me they had cancelled my move due to ice on the road. Now, I completely understand the cancellation. What was stressful and bad was the communication.

Hey Ashley, I am sorry to hear that we did not handle the rescheduling of your move properly but I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the movers work. We went into the day very optimistic about getting started on time for all clients but had to adjust start times last minute after our management…

I would not recommend Einstein Movers if you are looking for efficiency. These were the slowest movers I’ve encountered, seemingly taking as much time as possible to run up the clock since they are paid hourly. The two movers did not work well together, which further slowed down the process. They also mentioned they were missing a dolly and did not anticipate being assigned to my move.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with Einstein Moving Company. I paid their higher price (about $730 for four hours) to ensure my items would be moved properly. My movers were very professional, but items were damaged. I submitted a claim, but was asked to submit tons of photos and documentation. It's unclear what the outcome will be, but they've indicated they aren't responsible for damage on two items. Because of the damage during the move, I have to throw out one of my favorite pieces of art.

Unfortunately I will not be using this company again. I thought I found a really great deal by the prices and decided to go with them at the last minute. The guys are really sweet and communicated very well but my son's bed had slight damage and put back together wrong and my recliner sofa is loose because they put it back together wrong. I have used 3 men movers before and they secured my stuff so well. I should of just stuck with them. This was from August 1st.

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Einstein Moving Co. for two separate moves within the same week in the Austin area. The first move was a staging tear-down from South Austin to storage in North Austin, and the second involved picking up from both a home and storage in North Austin, then delivering and fully setting up a staging installation in Manor, TX. Both crews were outstanding. Huge shoutout to Jordan W and Gabriel B on the first move, and Trevor H and Adonis G on the second.

Benji, Corey, Jake and Elliot were amazing! They called before coming; they came on time. They exercised care with our things by wrapping with extra plastic, and didn’t run out the clock. They were patient with my wife as she kept changing her mind on where to put furniture, and they cleaned up after themselves (at both the old and new places.) Best of all, they were so quick the price came in well under estimate! Will definitely use Einstein again!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Einstein Moving Company, and I cannot say enough good things about our crew, Justin, Noah, Jeff, Shea, and Malik. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, friendly, and extremely communicative. They walked us through the plan for the day, checked in consistently, and made sure we felt comfortable with how everything was being handled. Not once did we feel out of the loop.

Jeff and Jeremy did an outstanding job with my move. They maintained excellent communication throughout the process, keeping me updated on their arrival time and showing up exactly as scheduled. They arrived fully prepared with everything needed to carefully and securely pack my apartment. Before getting started, they reviewed the estimated cost based on the scope of the move, and then worked efficiently to load everything onto the truck.
