I would not recommend this company to anyone. My husband was sent an email confirmation that they would be at our location and ready to go at 8 am. The est, was for apx 5 hours of work for $750.00. The first guy did not show up until after 8, and no truck. The truck did not show up until 8:30 am. The last 2 guys were late as well. showing up apx 8:45 -9 am. In the move out of a storage locker one of the movers was careless and knocked over a drawer that smashed on the floor.
Dear Roland, We scheduled your move to begin between 8:00 am and 8:30 am, which was communicated to you in advance via phone, and you acknowledged this arrangement. As agreed, our manager arrived promptly at 8:00 am, accompanied by our truck and crew, who also arrived punctually at 8:30 am.
This was the most horrible moving experience I’ve ever dealt with. 1. They came completely unprepared with 2 guys that had no idea what they were doing. They had to ask how to take things apart, were extremely slow, unprofessional, didn’t bring tools to disassemble anything and seemed like they had never done a move before and were completely unequipped for a 1 bedroom move. They complained about there being too many boxes and how tired they were from previous moves that day.

Sorry to say but this company sent complete amateurs who struggled with what should have been a simple move. Sent a nice young man initially who was polite but small, and seemed inexperienced. He arrived about 15 minutes late. Then another guy showed up like 30 minutes late, was not polite and didn't seem to want to work at all. He was carrying one small item at a time, it was ridiculous.

So! I recently moved using this company and at first it went well then it took a left! This is my first time using movers and probably will be the last. The agreement was 1 guy for two hours (he moved kinda slow and my boyfriend mainly did all the work) he end up working three hours (I paid it because it is what it is, I felt as if he should’ve given me a call and let me know my time was up and give me an option to extend the guys time and not just let him work for the extra hour).

Unfortunately, our experience with 519 Movers was extremely disappointing. On moving day, they arrived in a U-Haul van because we were told their regular truck was fon repair, and the rest is booked. Communication from the owner was also unacceptable. During phone calls, he raised his voice, yelled, and hung up on us multiple times instead of addressing our concerns professionally. It turned what was already a stressful moving day into a frustrating experience.

***Update: June 25, 2025 **** 519 Movers helped me for a 3rd time!! Found a free Vintage Armoire on marketplace. My first call was to 519 Movers to see if they were available to pick it up for me. Huge heavy piece of furniture (see pics). Response was immediate, rate reasonable and assembled the unit in place. So grateful for these gentlemen. We recently moved from London to Toronto, and I can confidently say that hiring this moving company was one of the best decisions we made.
