I did research on many companies to do an out of province move. Deciding to leave everything I’ve ever known was a huge decision and a very stressful situation. I decided to go with this company because of my friends opinions. Once speaking with Lucas to get the quotes and numerous times I had asked about fees was told nothing more was needed than the money for the quote unless if I was over the allocated 1000lb limit. I felt relief but still was worried about being over the weight.

The moving crew was good and the price was very average. When booking office staff are great and it is very easy. However, they were late by 20 minutes to start the move, which is a very stressful start when you are closing a property to purchase the new property on the same day. Besides this, be very aware if you receive damage of any sort from your move.
Hey Michelle , We had offered to repair the door as it was a few dents not gouges or fully broken, We had mentioned several times we would not be replacing the full door and you went ahead and bought the door anyways after refusing the repair we had offered.
Absolute worst service I’ve ever received. They use aggressive tactics in order to try and appeal to their customers when in actual fact, they’re just being plain RUDE. I had put in a request for movers and put a brief note to ensure no beating around the bush. So I gave a competitors price that I got that seemed very promising. Lucas reached out to me via text, appearing to be super friendly.

We had hired them to moved our 2 bedroom (one used as an office) 900 square ft apartment. The movers arrived on time but need a reminder that we needed to get moving. After about 25 mins began the jokes about "getting a break". We had friends to help us move so we wouldn't be taking too long The movers then made the comment their dispatch said it would take over 7.5 hours.... we moved about 40 mins outside London.

Thieves and liars. We hired these guys to help us move. Looked through the website, the paperwork, everything provided to us. On the day of, they showed up and after wasting about 20 minutes -- they told us that because bugs exist in the building (god forbid an apartment building have bugs), that they wouldn't be able to actually DO the move. I call their head office and the guy tries to make us feel guilty about it, cause his Movers aren't going to get paid. No care towards completely screwing us on moving day.
Hello Kyle your apartment was infested with cockroaches , We do not move pests or insects risking infesting the moving trucks with bugs and other customers items. The movers WERE paid and your time slot was wasted .
I’d like to give zero stars but I guess it’s a one minimum. We had a scheduled move setup for the 26th of July at 7am. This was confirmed via e-mail. I called on the morning of the 26th to confirm. They verified on the phone that it was locked in and good. They called me back within 20 minutes that they had us in for the 27th which was closing day. After some going back with some heated words they decided to cancel our move all together. This was an out of province move so more added stress.

I hired you people to move me on October 2nd .sloppy work!! They tore my new leather couch and love seat. They just threw clothing into boxes , therefore ruining 2 leather coats and andaxndmostofmyclothing. They bustedmanyexpensivethings. Therisfartomanytolist veryunprofessional,and and very slow. I am taking them to court if need be . Who packs breakables in the bottom of the boxes then puts heavy stuff on top!!

After a bad experience with "Two Men and a Truck", whom I'd used for two previous moves, (they took the job and then pulled out at the last moment!), my daughter suggested True North. WHAT A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! True North took on a tough job (lots of stuff in a small place, and a move out of town) and performed far beyond expectations! They were kind, polite, personable, sure, but what you also want in a moving company is Speed, Efficiency, Effectiveness... and of course a reasonable price.

I wanted to take time out of my day to write this review. I am a person who purchases services and products based off of reviews constantly. This was our first time using movers and I was nervous. I am a control freak. We were moving from London to Cambridge. I have moved a lot over my lifetime, so I am use to all of the things that can go wrong. My first introduction to this company was my initial call.

We used True North Movers recently for a small local move. The movers were professional, respectable, and worked quickly. Nothing was damaged in the move, and getting everything from one place to another went smoothly. I'm leaving a 4-star review only because the movers showed up 45 minutes early without warning. While it didn't hamper the move since our boxes were packed and ready, we were using the remaining time to tidy up and get things organized for an easier carry out.
