A Better Tripp Moving & Storage

Service was great and fast but extremely expensive compared to others. However, your items will be packed professionally and efficiently. Management was Very professional but the issue I had was the thieving employees. I literally turned my back for a second and went in my room to facilitate another mover. I realized that I had left my purse on the counter so i grabbed it. That quickly 1 of these employees went in my purse and stole $600. I had that money to pay for the movers and they stole it.

A BETTER TRIPP MOVERS COST ME A FORTUNE IN DAMAGES We hired A Better Tripp several years ago and they lied and cheated us. We asked several times for extra insurance and they lied to us about the process. Secondarily, they promised to bring appropriate materials to pack our fragile and valuable items. They did not and one of the movers brought his out-of-shape wife to pack me up as part of the team. They caused over $30k worth of damage and promised to make good on reimbursing me.

Horrible experience….second time using them but never again. Unprofessional and the movers didn’t secure the moving truck and pulled off with the door open and my belongings fell out the back of the truck. The driver lied and said nothing fell but he didn’t realize myself and my daughter were running behind the truck trying to get his attention and we saw my stuff fall out the truck. On top of that, two of the movers were lazy and didn’t place my items in the designated areas.

I wanted to give A Better Tripp Moving and Storage a good rating initially. They were quick to respond to my initial inquiries and packed and delivered my belongings after my mother’s death quickly. However, once my belongings arrived, I realized that a large, heavy, tile wall hanging was missing. This was a piece that the head packer took an interest in when he came to pack up my Mom’s apartment.

We couldn’t have been happier with our in-home estimate and with the great communication from our estimator throughout the process, but, unfortunately for us, A Better Tripp really botched this move. Even with the moving team putting boxes clearly labeled as “Fragile” on the bottom of the load, boxes turned upside down, and crushed, nothing that my family and I packed was damaged. We wrapped everything ourselves and never overstuffed boxes (and I am talking about enough boxes to pack a 3,000 sq. Ft.

The company came highly recommended as other reviews state. Not for us. The crew that delivered our belongings were very friendly and very professional. Not so much for the office staff. Our belongings were picked up in Arizona on 5/16/2022 and delivered to North Carolina on 6/13/2022! It is just over a 3 day trip but took almost a month to deliver! We were told the truck broke down. Then our load ended up In Houston.

This company isn't worth putting your belongings in their hands. They are liars & definitely don't conduct business the right way. I've been in the business over 20 years & recently had the disappointment of working & dealing with this low tier of a company. At least be accountable & make situations right when your wrong. Something they will never do. It's why I will never help them again, I will also let everyone know how much they don't care about customers, employees or their goods.

My move was handled by a subcontractor named Daryl. The experience was frustrating, the move was dragged out deliberately to stretch time and charge more, which was a tactic to increase the final cost. Mrs. Tripp was made aware of my concerns and showed no interest in resolving the issue. It is also worth noting that for every bad review, a few suspiciously glowing ones follow. Be mindful. I stand by what I have said and am taking this to court.
