First...let me say, our movers worked their tails off for us and did a great job. So why such a low rating? I made our appointment for yesterday between 12pm and 4pm. This appointment was made in July...well in advance. At around 2pm...I called and spoke with their dispatch to get an ETA on their arrival. I was told someone would call right back...nope! Very deceived by the quality of service we received using this company. They completely hurt my bed frame and couch while moving it. I sent them this email and they refused to take any action. “I am sending picture of multiple items that have been hurt during the move out of my apartment by your movers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! At first I booked Student Movers for my move and they did not call or show up 3 times in 1 day. The un-professionalism literally drove me crazy. They gave me a time slot between 12-4, so after no one showed at 3pm I called and the office pulled my reservation and let me have your driver call you with a estimated time. Waited 30 min and no one called me back. I called back and the excuse that I was told is that I did not confirm my reservation so they canceled it.

I should of listened to the negative reviews. I hired this company to help me move because I heard they were fast and affordable. I requested 3 movers instead of 2 just to make sure they finished within 2 hours because it was a small one bedroom apartment. Moving day came and after some time had passed I began to notice only two movers ACTUALLY moving furniture out. Apparently the 3rd mover was"getting things organized in the truck" I was told this after asking another mover.

Do not trust them with your furniture at all. When it comes to moving furniture these guys are the laughing stock of the barrel and I don't know what they talking about cheap! Because, we paid over $1,000 to be moved when we was quoted a price of $450 that's $350 extra out-of-pocket expenses and not to mention broken furniture I'm leaving unattended boxes in the hallway that they didn't put in the storage. This was a movers nightmare!

I hired Student Movers to unload my truck in Texas, and they were absolutely outstanding. These guys were extremely kind, respectful, and professional from start to finish. I didn’t schedule in advance because I wasn’t sure when my truck would arrive. I called the same morning, and they showed up that same afternoon, which was a huge relief since I needed help ASAP.
