A Better Way Movers

I used this moving company and did not have a good experience at all. The truck was supposed to be at my house at 9am and they did not arrive until 10:30. I walked them through what needed to be taken and signed the paperwork. They were aware that I had two slim cabinets in the garage (6 feet tall and 2 feet wide) and instead of putting them against the wall, they put them in the middle of the truck and then stated they cannot take all of my stuff because the cabinets "had to protect my Peloton".

Two out of three of the crew were wonderful. A third party, not so much. Unfortunately, a brand new $2400 custom designed mahogany satinwood Hepplewhite coffee table was GOUGED sometime during the move. How did this occur?! It was a SERIOUS GASH; one inch in length, one inch in width and several centimeters in depth. I did not even discover it until a few weeks later. This table had been pointed out specifically for special care. Fortunately, it was repaired, though not inexpensive.

WORST move ever! Made many moves over the years, but have never had so much scratched, broken or just plain destroyed as with this move. Team leader was rude and the rest followed his example. No care taken when loading the truck and absolutely no care taken unloading the truck and just dumping stuff everywhere. Boxes and bins crushed and destroyed, oak furniture I’ve had for over 20 years scratched and gouged, and other furniture broken. Next time I’ll hire quality movers so I don’t have to buy new furniture.

We utilized Better Way on 3/11 to load items into a Pod for transport and storage from our home in Peachtree City to our new location in CT. We finally unpacked the Pod last week and were devastated by the lack of care used by the Better Way team in loading and their complete disregard to our request that the furniture be wrapped in the blankets we provided to prevent damage from load shifting in transit.

I requested two movers just to come over to our new home and help us unload a 15 foot uhaul and was quoted $80 an hour, minimum 2 hours. While three guys showed up, it only took them about 40 minutes to unload all our stuff. My husband gave $200 in cash and asked for change, but the young man refused to give him any money back - saying the rest was for a tip.

I wished I had Eddie &Matt. I got Jesse. Pitiful no organization broken items, stolen items, went thru our medications, took all oxycodone meds left bottles in a row. I paid $7400 for this move and they didn't move me! They ransacked my house two days in a row. Called Corey who came out saw all 18 rooms like a tornado hit.They played no wonder they didn't move all my stuff! Took my beats headphones,.UGGboots-7pairs, designer handbags and sunglasses, emptied out my perfume sets, Bose receivers and remotes.

I chose to use a Better Way Movers because they provided such excellent service the last time I used them a few years ago. This time, I’m extremely disappointed and irritated that I spent almost 1000 and still had to do manual labor myself because they were not able to get everything. It took 2 movers 5+ hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment with hardly any large furniture.

I would like to share my review on this company. Let me first state that I hired this company for a major residential move. Allow me to expound on my experience with the movers and staff. My move occurred in July of this year, yes “July of this year”! I am still finding damaged furniture and missing item. A lot you would say what took you so long to write a review. Well, we had over 4000 square feet of furniture and personal items to move, which took three large trucks and eight to twelve men to move.
