Very bad experience with A Moving. Two men showed up to pack UHaul we had rented. We could not use their truck as we needed to store our belongings for 7 days. We were only moving from North Meridian to South Meridian, total of 11 miles. I was told it would take approximately 3 hours to load. First problem they had was our sofa upstairs would not fit down stairwell, no tape tape measure to see if it would fit, instead they tried. After realizing legs needed to be removed from sofa.
Mark- we appreciate your review. We believe we had a conversation that unfortunately your move was not to your/ our satisfaction. We dismissed both the movers that were on your job as we agreed completely your job does/ didn't meet the expectations that we demand from our movers.
The absolute WORST!!!Damaged many items, broke items, scratched leather in furniture. Company said they would take care of it, then totally ignored me. After weeks, Reese emailed, said he would pay a portion, then nothing!!! I have been working on replacing and or having items repaired for over a year, as advised by an attorney. Hoping to get in court with in the next few months for restitution of all the items damaged or ruined. This has been a complete hassle, and so unprofessional on their part.
This move took place nearly a year ago. We spoke with this client one time after moving across the country. We asked for pictures and we never received anything. We have went back in our records after seeing this review and NOTHING has been sent and no other phone calls received.
My move was a little out of the ordinary due to storage facility accommodations. After going back to my storage unit, I have found numerous pieces of my furniture has scratches and gouges in them. Brand new table slid across the truck resulting in massive scratches. Chunks out of my bedroom furniture. I moved all my stuff in a 17x9 truck yet a 10x20 unit to hold my belongings. Boxes and clothes out in back of storage blocked by large furniture and appliances.
Mary, your items traveled a very long distance. Being move from your home in Georgia to a ABF, onto our truck into storage. I personally came to the storage unit and asked how things were, you said Great!
I hired this company expecting a straightforward one-bedroom move. The day began with an unexpected surprise — the movers informed me they would not transport TVs. That was disappointing, since I specifically hired professional movers to handle all major items. The bigger issue was the time. I’ve done a nearly identical move before that took 4 hours, and this one should have been faster since I no longer had a bedroom set. Instead, it took 6 hours.
It has taken me a few days to respond because we are simply in awe. We gave you exactly what you asked for a straightforward one bedroom apartment move. I would like to add since it was the cost that frustrated you. Please let me explain from a human movers perspective.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Krista, Reese, and Xavior did a fantastic job with unloading service. They were friendly, professional, on time, and worked quickly while still being extremely careful with all of our belongings. Everything was handled gently and placed exactly where it belonged, which made the entire process so much less stressful. They stayed on budget, worked efficiently, and truly went above and beyond. We really appreciated their hard work and would highly recommend them.

Absolutely awesome experience with A Moving Company. Moving your whole life from California to Idaho is stressful enough, but Krista, Reese, and the crew made the entire process feel manageable from day one. What stood out most was the communication. No games, no broker nonsense, no surprise pricing. They did a full video walkthrough twice beforehand, explained exactly how the estimate worked, and were upfront that the only thing that could change pricing was additional labor time if the move ran longer than…

I randomly called A Moving Company to move all my son's stuff from his home to a new storage area. The guys had to cross a huge grass area and go up a flight of stairs. No way was I going to hurt my back doing this portion of the move. My son said we could do it....but I know better. What I thought was going to take three hours only took 1 hour!!! Ben, Jesse, and Micheal were super nice and most importantly efficient. When you call the office, the gal always answers the phone and is super professional.

I figured I would leave another review. I have used A-Moving Company now about 5 times and each time, no matter who they send, they always do a great Job. Today, it was Colton, Tasha and Harley, 3 people I haven't seen before. We've been having our house remodeled over the past 2 years and they've been their with us every step of the way. Today was no exception. They moved all we needed out of our garage back upstairs to complete the final move back in after we've been playing musical chairs for 2 years.
