They also rent apartments but don't follow the rules of the fair housing act. When brought it to there attention they wouldn't even look at my cellphone where I had brought up the rules from humanesociety.org. I have officially filed a complaint with HUD for discrimination since they wouldn't even take my application..

My experience with this company has been disappointing to say the least. As far as property management goes, they were fairly responsive but beware that they will nickel and dime you on your security deposit. They withheld a portion of my deposit and provided no proof of actual wear and tear. I've asked about receiving interest on my deposit, they refused.
ATTENTION ROCKFORD! STORAGE UNIT RENTERS BEWARE: A PLACE FOR SPACE IN ROCKFORD, PARKING LOT IS NOT BEING MAINTAINED!! WRECKED CAR AND HURT ANKLE DUE TO NEGLIGENCE AND ICE COMPLETELY COVERING LOTS. TREATED RUDELY AND WAS TOLD IT WAS MY FAULT! BECAUSE OF CONTRACT LANGUAGE, COMPANY WIPES HANDS CLEAN OF HAVING TO SALT LOTS! THEY APPARENTLY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF THEIR CLIENTS. GO ELSEWHERE!!!
I rented here for a year. If you're a foreigner, especially a Hispanic , I don't recommend this place. The manager (she said), Liz Johnson, will discriminate against you and threaten to auction off your belongings in a humiliating and arrogant manner. There are many other places with excellent, polite and non-discriminatory customer service. Think twice before renting here for convenience of location to the apartment across the street.

Lady that answered the phone was completely rude about a u-haul rental. When she finally got the maintenance man to agree to come back, she wanted to still fault me that u-haul sent me after hours. I told her it was their issue with u-haul not with me I just went where they sent me. To which she stated the maintence guy didnt have to come back. I hoghly reccomend going anywhere else than dealing with this lady.

I just giving 1 star because I had to I don't recommend this place I was renting a unit but last month I went to get my stuff my unit was empty I called and let them know and they just told me to make a police report when the police called …
Thank you for review. We will do a better job instructing our customers on how to work the latch or put in a place a procedure to cut customers locks and over lock them when they lock the door open. Your lock was still on and that is only way we can tell if you vacated. Sorry that happened to you!

The space has been ideal for storing my car during the winter. I have used it during summer to keep my car protected from the weather conditions.

Megan and Liz were so great!! They accommodated my needs to switch to a smaller unit and also gave us a 5 day grace period for us. I recommend the place for space is the way to go. The staff made the move easier and carefree for giving us enough tjme to move without stress and worry.

So far had not had any issues, they even put in some upgrades, The ladies in the office, may seem mean, but they are really nice, and willing to work with you, when your late, the friendly reminders keep you on track
