Absolute disaster of a move. Took way longer than promised “express shipping”, multiple items were damaged - worst of all, my 65 inch TV came wrapped in blankets instead of a TV box & picture tube was destroyed, missing mirror. Nobody had …
Unfortunately they quoted me 4 hours for 20 boxes and a small desk. This would have been over $700 to move these items. When I asked why 4 hours for 20 medium and small boxes, he became defensive and stated that I was looking for something cheap and he could not help me. He then hung up on me as I was trying to explain that this wasn’t a household move. No patience whatsoever. Very dumb PR/ marketing if you ask me.

I had a great experience with StraightLine Movers from my very first contact with them. While every other moving company I called sent me to voicemail and didn’t return my calls for several days, StraightLine answered the phone immediately and promptly scheduled an in-home estimate. I already had an estimate by the time a couple movers called me back. Tom came out to provide the estimate, and he was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.
Straightline movers did an excellent job!!! The young men were VERY professional and careful loading and unloading everything.....my father managed Blue Van & Storage/Allied Van Lines in Rockford for 40 years so I know what's involved in getting experienced movers!! My husband and I have moved a total of 8 times locally and nationally....Allied Van Lines handled all of our moves. Can't say enough good things about our experience with Straightline movers!!!!!

Straightline stored our furniture and household goods for 11 months and moved the contents 4 hours north to our new home. Most things were packed very securely and moved without damage. Pricing was very reasonable considering all of the work done packing contents of 2600 sq ft house, storage and moving everything to another state. The movers, Dustin and Louie, were fantastic! Very friendly, hardworking and made the hard stuff look easy and they did it with good humor and a great attitude.
Ty and Shane were great! They are both very friendly and personable. They were vey professional. They explained everything and made sure what needed to be done. The whole move went smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I highly recommend Shane, Ty and Straightline Movers as a whole. I will definitely be using them again.
