*UPDATE 8/30/24-OWNER ignored my complaint letter for 3 months about over charging me, damaged items and late delivery! He contacted me several days ago ONLY because of the effects of this negative Google review! He left me message saying he "wanted to make it right" so we spoke on the phone for a long time. NO apology! He just kept asking me to delete my review! He assured me that he would contact me within *24 HOURS* with an offer to "make it right" but ONLY if I deleted my review.
I gave them the measurements, the weight and photos of a safe before I bought it. They assured me they could handle it. They showed up an hour late with an appliance dolly. Took one look at the safe and told me they could not move it. How unprofessional is it to show up with an appliance dolly to move something you know is 700+lbs. Thanks for waisting my time and money.

Bad Co. Do not....I repeat!..Do not use this company.we were stolen from from the movers we were supposed to trust..They threatened us and demanded tips.It was like we were held ransome.They even took parts off my snowblower. So much more.my wife feels as if she was robbed and rapped. These people are bad news.I needed to warn others.before it is too late.
1. No one cares about your stuff more than you do. That was evident in watching movers wrap and load an antique stereo console; of which is now non-operable. My moving insurance that was purchased with Allied (by recommendation of Mr. Baxter to mitigate this scenario) does not cover as it is not "external damage". This is in addition to the other limitations that Allied seems to conjure out of thin-air so as to not have to pay for anything that was damaged.
I am incredibly disappointed with my experience. The move was handled carelessly from start to finish. The day of the move started with them forgetting several items, forcing them to turn around and come back to collect them. Worse than the poor organization was the total lack of care for my property. During the estimation process, Tom explicitly assured me that the professional music equipment boxes I provided would be wrapped and protected with blankets. They completely failed to do this.
I received 3 mailers over the course of a week with a phone number ending in 3735. I called the number and it rang over 20 times before I ended the call. Usually a business will have some sort of answering capability or at least some message. I don't know if the site with the number was swamped or not. Either way, I was not impressed by the lack of ability to handle calls to the number on the mailer. Since I was asked for when I called, it was March 4th at 10:57 am.

This is a terrible company. They ruined our items due to negligent movers and refuse to acknowledge our claims. It has been 4 months of silence from them. HIGHLY advise choosing another company. This one is awful and we will be seeing them in court!
Not very trustworthy. We ended up having to pay them for an hour while they stopped to get lunch on the way from the house to the storage facility. (7 minute drive) as well as their bad math / ability to tell time for the rest of the time …

Jeremy and Mike arrived on time, handled all items with care, and worked efficiently from start to finish. They communicated clearly, stayed organized, and made the move go smoothly. Nothing was damaged and they completed the job in the expected timeframe. Overall, excellent service — would confidently recommend.
The moving crew was AMAZING! They were respectful, courteous, prompt, and took pride in their work! We had a large commercial move with office furniture, over 40 large file cabinets in a basement, and over 200 boxes. Everything was delivered in the same condition as it was picked up. The final bill matched the quoted price with no overages or add-ons.
I used StraightLine movers recently. From the first phone call, Michael were knowledgeable and helpful. Tom did a very thorough onsite estimate and explained every detail. On moving day, Jeremy, Nate, Zack and Logan worked diligently on a hot and humid day and took the time and care with all of my possessions. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
