Called them because my original movers never showed up. They arrived without any tools, so I had to drive to the store to get a screwdriver. After they loaded the truck and I gave them the new address, they disappeared for almost 2hrs and didn't answer their phones (it should have only taken them 35-40 mins). After they finally showed and moved everything in and I paid them I discovered that they broke both my TVs, broke the middle leg off my TV stand, broke my fan, damaged two floor lamps, cracked some of the…
would 100% NOT recommend. MY cousin had this company move her yesterday. She paid $150 an hour for them to take a break every few minutes, smoke SEVERAL TIME on the job (around children), take personal phone calls, and complain the entire time. Took them 4 hours just to load the truck of an average size 3 bedroom house. It's just 3 random guys in a rented uhaul, does not seem legit to me. Not to mention that once they were paid, we realized that 2 tvs were MISSING.
Called and set an appointment. Was told they would call me the day before. Never received a phone call. When I tried to call went straight to voicemail. So I showed up at the scheduled time and they never showed. Left me high and dry. Very unprofessional. I went with College Hunks instead. They came the same day, super fast and reliable. Clean and respectful. Do not use Rockford Family Movers. They're a complete joke.
I called and a guy answered, “hello”. I asked to see if I could get an estimate for moving and he said, “not today”. And hung up on me! Did not give me a half a second to even say thank you! Wow. If that is the type of customer service you get when you call, I can’t imagine the service you receive when you hire them. So disappointing.

These guys are real pros. I had a few difficult pieces of furniture and even though my move was long they took care of everything. It was very affordable compared to other quotes. Very professional .over the phone the owner quoted me and didn’t give an outrageous price unlike other companies in the area. They had my 2 bedroom house moved out and in in under 3 hours. They did an excellent job!
Rockford Family Movers did a great job for my move. I had a lot of stuff and they moved my things quickly and with care. Steven ran my move and took care of everything for me. I highly recommend these movers!
