So they have good reviews but if you are female I suggest you have a male call to talk to Tony. He gave me options of a four man or five man crew but then after booking declared that since I live in a house (?? which he knew before quoting me 4 or 5 men) I have to book the five man crew even though all that is left in the house is basic furniture with absolutely no boxes no tubs no chairs for tables no TVs and 2 bedrooms empty etc.
Had nothing to do with you being female. I felt you had expectations that were realistic. you sent me an inventory of furniture you’re moving. The only difference in you having a four men or using five Men crew is five men is quicker, four … More
Absolutely ridiculous experience. I had my move scheduled a month out to ensure that I had a set date that aligned with closing. I did not have a lot of items or furniture to move. Prior to the movers showing up I let Tony know what items that would be included in the move. The move was scheduled at 9am and the movers didn’t show up until 20 after, not a huge deal but punctuality is appreciated. The 3 young guys were very nice and seemed ready to work.

When I called to ask a question regarding the contract, he was rude by cutting me off before I could ask my question. Said he'd call me back, but never did. Ultimately went with Two Men and a Truck

The guys were on time & professional. They were careful not to cause injury to the furniture or home. The owner was interested in knowing exactly what his team was in for. Pictures of the biggest items was helpful for them . He also wanted to know approximately how many boxes we had. At the time, we could only estimate how many ( 30-40? or more) As the packing was not complete until midnight the day before. This company had the biggest price per hour ,but all the reviews I researched was outstanding.

I highly recommend A Smooth Move. They were incredibly professional and fast. Another big moving company recently canceled on us after 4:00 PM the night before our move, which left us in a huge jam. I called Tony at A Smooth Move, and he was amazing to work with. He showed up with 5 guys and they were polite and professional. Unlike the company that canceled, Tony wouldn't take the job until he checked and made sure his team was actually available.

From the beginning, Tony (Owner) was one of the best communicators I’ve ever dealt with. We moved from Ohio to Tennessee. He came to our in person to look at what needed to be moved. He submitted an estimate within 2 days. Very competitive pricing. Tony was on site for the entire load and the unload. His crew is professional, polite, and hard-working. His same crew that loaded the truck in OH unloaded the truck in TN. I highly recommend Smooth Move for your move.
