DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FROM LINDEN NJ. I would never recommend this company due to their deceitful practices, incompetence and lies. First, they will initially give you an in accurate estimate and request a down payment. When the movers show up they will tell you that you have more than what the estimate is and since you are on a time frame you have no other choice. The estimate quadrupled on my move and they requested an additional down payment that reflected half of the total amount.

Absolutely the worst moving experience of my lifetime. Endlessly uncommunicative, my goods were in an accident after being a month late and I barely got half of what I shipped. Some meathead named Gal talked me up and said he “had it all under control”. Worst service, worst communication, threatening and demanding. Please, go anywhere else. Update 1/26, I called and spoke with the "owner" Steve who claims he doesn't have my info . I dealt with him directly while trying to get my things after the accident.

May 1st, 2024 If there was a 0 stars, I would have chosen that. They don't even deserve one star. My mother passed away I wanted to get some of her stuff moved from California to Oklahoma. I messaged with several moving companies and even had ones with less expensive quotes but I liked the saleswoman (Anne) at A1A Movers, we chatted about people who have passed. She seemed genuine. All our conversations happened through text because I wanted everything in black and white. No, I said, she said.

There is absolutely no transparency in their pricing. The final cost was more than double the initial quote, full of hidden fees they never disclosed up front. Despite advertising that they use their own fleet, this is simply not true. In conversations with the drivers, it became clear that all the trucks are outsourced vendors. They pretend to have their own staff by putting random uniforms on people and calling them “employees,” but it’s all subcontracted.

If you ask for trouble go with this company. I had the worst experience with these guys. They are terrible. They raised the price three times at the day of pick up. When the truck was about to leave, he gave us the price that was 3 times more than what we agreed on. They took the stuff and kept it as a hostage. They had us pay whatever they wanted and then kept our stuff 21 days in a storage in Florida. Everything came in wet because of humidity.

All CUSTOMERS!! BEWARE OF THIS ROTTEN COMPANY! THEY ARE SWINDLERS AND CHEATERS, AND THEIR SERVICE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO BE FRAUDULENT, SUBSTANDARD, AND SUB-SKILLED. AVOID DEALING WITH THEM AT ALL COSTS. IT'S MOST PROBABLY THE WORST MOVING COMPANY IN THE COUNTRY!!! It took them over a month after loading the truck with my household furniture to deliver it.

This company has the most rudest "manager of everything" I've ever encountered. They told us our things would be on the road Monday the Oct 23. They cane to pick up our things on Friday the 20th. Said "we don't drive out trucks down on the weekend so we will leave Monday" already an inconvenience cause we move in on Monday but OK. They told us $1200 for the move when they got our stuff on the truck they then told us it will be $1700. Here it is the 25th and our stuff is still in NJ. We were moving from CT to GA.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND “MANAGEMENT” SUCKS. For starters, it’s a complete rip off. I feel like one star is too much credit. I was told it was going to cost me $1200 to move ALL of my stuff, just to find out they couldn’t move everything and it ended up costing me $3000. When I called for an explanation, I ended up talking to a woman who claimed to be the manager, and she told me there was nothing to be done and that is that. So I figured oh well then at least it’s over. Wrong.
