Moving Service Review Disappointing Ending to an Otherwise Good Experience I'm torn about my experience with this moving service. The team initially seemed professional and efficient, but things took a sour turn at the end. The Good · The movers handled the large items carefully. · They were prompt and ready to work.
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, you either have the wrong moving company or you used a different name when you booked your move. We cannot find you anywhere in our system. Additionally, our drivers are not permitted to quote pricing or in any way permitted to negotiate billing.
Terrible experience. They took way longer than the estimated time. Of the 4 workers provided, one of them was consistently missing. At one point 3 of the 4 works left for 30 min leaving only one worker doing anything. Upon packing, things like t-shirts had a large amount of packing paper used. Furniture was wrapped, but not handled carefully and caused lots of small blemishes. I also found a large box filled entirely with packing paper, plastic wrap, and packing tape.
Called and scheduled someone to come out. Got a couple of reminder emails. Their estimator never showed up. No phone call, no explanation. Just didn't even bother to show. Thanks for nothing!
This was an unfortunate scheduling error where our weekend answering service double booked one of our estimators. We of course apologized, rescheduled and drove over and hour to do the estimate.
Damaged/Destroyed Meaningful Items, Poor Communication, No Accountability I had a HORRIFIC experience with this moving company. During my move, two of my personal items — both of which held deep personal significance — in one case was significantly damaged and in the other it was completely destroyed. One was a family heirloom, a glass top table, I had inherited from my late father, and the other was a framed original artwork.
Hired this company for a last minute move after other movers cancelled, so I give them credit for being able to do the job on short notice. However, after unpacking, both one of my expensive power tools and a bag with my important documents went missing. These were the only people with access to any of my belongings. Also, the employee in charge of doing all of the admin/planning stuff of the move was great; the other was sullen and complaining the whole time.
Unfortunately we cannot find this individual anywhere in our database or scheduling calendar, and we have no record of any claim for the described missing items being submitted. If you were indeed a customer we serviced under a different name we apologize for any issues you experienced.

Chelses and Jose we excellent. This was my first time using a moving company and I was not disappointed. Chelses and Jose were on time professional and nothing was damaged. I felt very comfortable with them and they knew how to navigate the build elevators and were efficient with packing and unpacking. I will be using them again !

We were making a out-of-town move and had a recommendation from some friends about A2B. After contacting a number of companies for quotes, we felt comfortable going with A2B as they seemed to provide both the most thorough quote as well as being very responsive, along with keeping clear communication. We did one day of packing and one day of moving. The team between the both days was Denis, Javier, Melvin, and Armando. Denis was the crew leader and great at checking with us whenever there was something needed.
A2B Movers moved me from Arlington to Fredericksburg and the experience was absolutely outstanding. Charles, Dominic, and Adrian were the utmost professionals, focused on moving my furniture and other household items with caution, and to ensure that everything was well protected. Despite the delay with the loading dock elevator, they were quick to find workarounds to ensure time was not wasted.
Let me start by saying I wanted to give them 5 stars but they left out one detail that I think is important for everyone to know. I wasn't informed about the 5% increase on your final bill if you paid with a card and not a check. Now when every dollar counts you can't give people surprises like that. I almost didn't tip my packing crew because it went over my budgeted money.
