I used AA moving for what should have been an easy quick move from one apartment to another 5mins down the street. The movers they sent: Troy and his uncle (I don’t remember his uncle’s name but he was more professional) moved extremely slow would disappear and took forever moving things and kept trying to take extra items. They ran up the clock to get extra money from us even after explaining that we were on a time crunch. It got to the point where we started just moving some of the items ourselves.
Customer expectations were truly unrealistic, our workers worked hard and diligently to satisfy customer, however the customer was expecting the move to go faster because they simply didn’t have the money to pay for their move and they were … More
Was very unprofessional towards the end of the move. Two of the guys were arguing out loud and come to find out one of the guys were the owner. Wow should have left that drama until the job was finish. That delayed some of the move time. Some of my furniture got messed up and some got dirty. The most funny part two of the guys had to take a dump a few minutes into the move and as you know during all the delays no time was docked off. Other than that the move was ok.

It took them 8 hrs to move and I’ve moved a few times this is by far the longest move I’ve had. They broke a glass of my soy sauce all over a box and other condiments, I had a freezer full of food and would think they’d bring that in first! as I finished putting my food up I realized there was a lot of food missing and my stored breast milk I opened every kitchen box and no food was found! I texted them and was told to check the unmarked boxes!? Why wouldn’t freezer food be labeled!

Movers moved quickly and treated my items with care. However, I do recommend more thorough onboarding of new customers and what to expect on days leading up to and day of service so that everything is clear for the customer. Moving is a lot and you are constantly reading and signing things, so it is easy to overlook, forget, or misunderstand things you’ve read. Actual conversations are better.
