HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE Moving day was a disaster! AB Moving & Relocation Sent out a crew of 3 very young men, The oldest was in his early twenties. They were Constantly on their cellphones texting. They were taking their sweet time, I found them hiding in the back of the truck conversating twice. My husband followed behind their truck to the storage unit to drop off are things. The truck pulled into the gas station and my husband continue driving to the storage unit.
This was such a terrible experience with a moving company. A job that should have only been 2 hours or less turned into 4.5 hours. The moving crew (2 guys) arrived late at the first location. There wasn’t much to move since I already had the little that was left packed up and organized for them but for some reason it took them about an hour to get the items into the truck even though we were on the first floor. And I get it, furniture is heavy but there really wasn’t a lot of furniture.
This was my first time using this company since they were recommended on the neighborhood app. The three men that came out stole all of my son’s shoes. I didn’t notice until the next day when we were getting dressed for his birthday and he …
I moved a very long distance, which is already extremely stressful, and unfortunately this experience made it much worse. I hired AB Moving company to help unload my U-Pack shipment. One of the movers asked to use my restroom, which I allowed. Afterward, I discovered that he had urinated on the toilet and the bathroom floor, leaving it unsanitary and forcing me to clean it myself immediately.
I have to say that this was one of the worst moving experiences I’ve ever had. I scheduled a move through them on Friday for Sunday. On Sunday I told them I had an appointment at 2 but would be available to meet them at 4 no problem. I get a call as I’m walking into my appointment from the mover saying they won’t make it in time cause the storage closes at 6. I tell them as long as we’re in there before then it’s fine I don’t have that much stuff.
Going back to my days in far North Dallas, I have used AB Moving on a multitude of occasions. Those first 2 moves with them up there couldn’t have gone any better, however, I have experienced the complete opposite with them since moving to Houston. But this past move was a compete nightmare and one that falls completely on AB Moving. I’ll preface my frustration with the fact that I was moving from a 3 Bedroom house to a 1 Bedroom townhome.

This is the second time I have used AB Movers. Both times they have provided excellent customer service well above my expectations. My initial contact person on the phone located my prior move information promptly, recognized me and welcomed me back warmly and genuinely. After a few simple questions, she provided me with a detailed move quote that answered all my questions. Movers should up a few minutes early and got started moving within minutes.
Alfonso, Manuel, and Jose were the best! They were fast, efficient and ensured all my items were taken care of properly. They kept communication with me and made sure the move was an easy and smooth process. Thank you so much!!
Inquired Saturday about moving, sales person explained all the charges and set my move for Sunday morning! They even came 2 hours early which was also a plus. Courtesy call and texts every step of the way. The movers handle everything carefully even wrapping all fragile items at no cost. I'll most definitely be hiring you all again for my next move! Pricing is very reasonable as well! Thanks again AB Moving!!
Alfonzo and his team were EXCELLENT!! They took great care in handling my furniture. They were efficient, very professional. If I move again, I’m calling AB and requesting Alfonzo.
