I called on the 6th to see if they still had a deal on Yamaha pianos and the lady who answered said she didnt think so but would have some guy get back to me. I was looking for a Yamaha clavinova in an upright box in black walnut and no one got back to me. Today is Saturday the 10th. I called and they had no intension of calling me back. They were supposed to call me back and let me know what they had with the black walnut and again nobody called back and then the lady when I called today was super freaking rude.
Worst customer service with regard to a player piano purchase. No help from AB Stevens agent or Tech they recommended. Do not return calls for assistance
This review is for my experience *consigning* with A B Stephens. If you are a buyer, just know that as a customer myself, I have no complaints. …
Hi Mr. Petursson, Please call the store. My name is Laurin and I'll take care of it.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I just bought a piano from A B Stephens and had a great experience. They have a very nice selection of pianos and I was able to get a used Yamaha C6. It’s such a beautiful piano and it plays brilliantly. They were very pleasant to buy from. I bought it on a Saturday and they delivered a few days later on Tuesday. The delivery was on time and their team assembled it nicely in my home. I recommend them, you can tell they have been doing this type of business for a long time.
Excellent selections, knowledgeable and courteous staff, and qualitative pricing. Excellent business.
I have only good things to say about AB Stephens. I haven't actually been there in a long time. I drive by it frequently and maps assumes I stopped by. I don't understand why. Because, they actually moved recently so, why maps is prompting a review, idk. But I did take guitar lessons at AB Stephens 30+ years ago. When they offered more than a great new or used piano.
Thanks for your feedback! We're glad you made some good memories with us
I love this music store! They have so many different kinds of sheet music, plus pianos on display, and music lessons. I was searching for sheet music for two songs and the kind lady who assisted me wrote down my contact information so she could let me know when she found information on them, since they weren't in the store. She called me a bit later and referred me to a website where they were available, which was so helpful. I'll definitely be back in the future!
