Rocket City Movers of Huntsville

several serious issues that occurred during our scheduled move Per our quote and confirmation call from your office on Friday, March 6, 2026, we were told that four movers would arrive at our home at 9:00 AM. However, only three movers arrived, and they did not arrive until 10:18 AM. Prior to their arrival, we received a last-minute call from the movers stating they would be late because they had three other pieces of furniture to move first.

We were so pleased with how polite our moving crew was! However, when I called to file a damage claim for a lamp and table, I never received a call back. I called once with no response and the second time I called, the lady on the phone told me an office manager would call back for the damage claim but they never did. The glass lamp shade broke and the lamp itself is bent/unusable. I also saw our table top being rolled up the brick stairs which resulted in a large chip in its side.

UPDATE: I have no record of a phone call or voicemail from management at this company, despite their claim in their response. Their response here feels manipulative. If you look at my review history, this is the only negative review I’ve ever written—I am generally very easy to work with, and on the rare occasion something goes wrong, I always try to resolve it directly with management first. In this case, I never received a call back or voicemail, despite multiple attempts on my part.

Update: We HAVE NOT been contacted. The safe fee was not an issue. Your company quoted us a flat fee. Thank you for your response though. This lets us know how to proceed. BEWARE! Hired them to move our things from Hampton Cove to a storage unit approx 2 wks in advance. They said the only thing that would change the price was our safe-they wanted to see it first. Paid $200 extra for it. They asked us to box everything up & put it in the garage so it would make things go faster & we did so.

We hired them to move us from one house to another, during the move they damaged two items. One item repair cost was less than $100 to repair, the other item was about $1,000.00 to repair/replace. They repair the cheaper item, but refuse to replace the other, during the move it fell off the back of the truck and the movers contacted their manager and they said it will be taken care of. The lead mover text me for a few days, but stopped after while. Rocket city movers office refuses to return my calls or emails.

Dishonest movers do not use. They will charge you for overweight items when the items are not overweight, they will damage your property and they will not call you back regarding discrepancies on the building. They were on time though But overall, a terrible experience go with another moving company. These guys are not to be trusted. I’ve called twice w no call back to discuss these charges. I can even understand things getting damaged.

Terrible. They broke multiple pieces of furniture. They never paid us anything for thr furniture They broke. And they damaged our newly build house in many places. We’ve had a lot better mover in Huntsville Madison area. I would use someone else again, especially given how expensive they are!!!

Manager is rude and charged me two different prices and also charged me a tip that I did not approve!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!
