Sadly, I had a negative experience with Absolute. Let me start with the positive: they are inexpensive. But, there are _so_ many cons. See below. Look elsewhere if you can... The cons: (1). [Left me high and dry]. My building requires insurance. I flagged this for Kareem on our first interaction, and I provided him with details. Kareem assured me that they had the insurance needed to move into my building. However, three days before my move, that he did not have the required insurance.
They're getting two stars because the actual movers did solid work. But the organization was TERRIBLE. They showed up TWO HOURS LATE because of other clients. I called Kareem multiple times to ask how they'd make this right and he said that they wouldn't refund any money even if they were five hours late but that he would send an extra guy to speed things along.
Things to take from this transaction we do solid work we also get paid for are services and could possibly show up later when you schedule your move after 12 because you have early closing on your home .Afternoon slots are flexible on arrival times unless there’s a reason to be on time and at that…
One star is pretty generous as far as I'm concerned. I just watched my elderly father get charged $1,500 for a packing job that only took 4.5 hours to complete. We had originally agreed on a price of $750 plus the price of boxes, which we were completely fine with. We also had asked them to donate a small quantity of items which probably took them less than an hour to complete.
Would not recommend - it's a good value (cheapest movers we found), but you get what you pay for. Very poor customer service. I spoke to Kareem on multiple occasions prior to the move. He kept asking me to change our pickup day and time. …
I contacted this mover for packing services. There was a very agitating screeching in the background and it took asking him to lower it five times before he did. I explained I was disabled and having trouble and needed to speak slowly. …
Horrible Service. Big inconvenience. The worker on the phone was rude. They kept canceling it was all just horrible. Offensive on the phone and instead of accommodating they rudely said their gonna give us back our deposit.

These guys were true professionals. From the moment I phone interviewed Kareem I knew they were the right guys for the job. He convinced me he was going to take a personal interest in the job, and he did. They showed up on time for the move out, were efficient, polite, professional and thorough. Kareem's crew of 5 were a pleasure to work with treating our belongings as if they were their own. Everything they were responsible for was packing was protected properly.
Kareem and team are the best. Very professional and responsive. He is always able to fit us into his schedule for help which we are appreciative of. Above all, Kareem is kind and thoughtful which makes all the difference. 10/10 would recommend and will continue to work with Absolute Packers
Kareem and his team have moved me three times. They "wrapped" my house, moved me into storage, then out to new place 18 months later. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. His team is careful, efficient, thoughtful and well aware of what fits and what does not! In the stifling heat the last few weeks Kareem and his team completed two moves for me. They are always pleasant and professional and ask if I need anything else before departing. You will be in good hands with Absolute Packers!.

Absolute Packers did an excellent job with a residential move involving multiple stops between CT and MA. One team did the pack-up/pick-up and another did the drop-offs the following day. From start to finish everyone involved was professional, courteous, and efficient. All of the items were packed and unloaded with care. The cost was very fair - especially considering the quality of the service. I highly recommend this moving company.
