All My Sons Moving & Storage

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. We hired All My Sons Moving because I am 7 months pregnant and wanted to make our move less stressful. Instead, they turned what should have been a simple move into an absolute nightmare. We were given an 8–10 AM arrival window. They showed up at 11 AM with no notice. My husband explicitly told them they needed to back into our driveway from the road because there was nowhere for a large truck to turn around once inside.

Did not have a stress free move my parents are in there 80s and I watched them get taken by all my sons and here is how. The job was estimated to be 3900 a one day house move. 8am goes by no one’s arrived, 9am goes by still no one. Parents getting nervous so I gave them a call to see where the workers are the man that answered had no idea where they were and said let me call them. 30 mins goes by I called back and I get soon.

I’ve used All My Sons Moving twice, and both experiences were extremely disappointing. During both moves, multiple items went missing, including an air conditioner, Christmas tree, fans, and a step ladder. The moving process also felt unnecessarily slow, which raised concerns for me about how my belongings were being handled in between locations. When I reached out to the company to report the missing items, I received no real acknowledgment or apology.. just instructions to file a claim.

Initially got quoted at $159/hour, plus a nondescript “labor cost” which the customer service rep was very vague about specific cost. This was advertised as an automatic discount provided as a first time customer by the person taking my call to schedule the appointment. I was having a dresser moved from my parents house in Ridgefield, CT to Stamford- just one item, and a 45 min drive, maybe 1 hour with typical weekend traffic.

Our dressers and tables were wrapped, but our mattress and couches were not wrapped so the sides of them were on the ground before they got into the truck and after they were unloaded. We just paid a lot of money for our new house to get cleaned and now there is dirty furniture in it. Boxes were left in our apartment, and I was asked to move and take some of the smaller boxes in my own car, even though there was plenty of room on the truck.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I hired All My Sons to move a few larger pieces of furniture, everything else we took care of ourselves. The day of the move, two movers arrived, and while the movers themselves were very personable, they absolutely botched the job. Everything went smoothly until it came time to bring up the washer and dryer from the basement.

Such a bad experience. Came a crew of two, they did not move boxes the ways professionals have in past experiences I've had. It's was billed by time, and they carried one box at a time, although when I moved in they took 5 boxes at a time with a dolly up the stairs. It was a really hot day, which I have full empathy for the crew, but they came with no water (I'm moving, I don't have cups to offer you water). They sat down in front of the AC after almost every load.

Would give zero star if I could. We scheduled for 4pm move on a Sunday. All day, they were harassing me trying to change the time last minute. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I had to pick up a key for my new apartment at 3pm. Hence the 4pm move. After I generously agreed to moving my appointment to 3pm, they could come at 12/1pm or we have to reschedule. Ridiculous how they’re still in business given how unprofessional they are.
