We used this company for moving. We paid for two trucks and four guys. We got one big truck and one smaller truck. So one guy spent almost the whole time trying to cram everything in to fit it into the trucks. I was expecting two large trucks. We also had one guy in training who was new, he was quite slow and spent a lot of time just looking around not knowing what to do. We didn't quite finish packing, had a few cabinets still full and a few things here and there.
Wish I could give zero stars. Worst experience I've ever had with any business. We did a move to another state and the movers (except one guy- the guy who drove our things) didn't show up to move when our items reached the destination. In addition to this my dad and husband had to end up moving most of our things with this one guy. When we tried to address this with the owner he literally yelled and cussed at me because we wanted a slight discount since his team didn't show up.

I need to edit my review. Affordable movers has reached out to me to try and make things right concerning damaged items. I also located my missing jewelry. Apologies to the moving team for accusing them of stealing it. We were dealing with numerous issues and extreme stress at that time. We experienced a nightmare move. Boxes were only labeled by room and some boxes were not labeled at all. Power cords were not packed with things they belong to.
We are truly sorry to hear about the stress and disappointment you experienced during your move. We understand how upsetting it must feel to believe that something so personal and sentimental has gone missing, and we do not take those concerns lightly.
Cheapest company for a reason. The movers damaged a wall, the baseboard, left screws around the carpet knowing there’s a toddler walking barefoot around the house and did not put away all the clothes and items they packed claiming it was going to cause over time, which no one asked them to bring downstairs to begin with. When I asked about where the screws came from, the mover’s response was “oh, I saw them but I don’t know where they came from”—so they left them laying around the carpet for someone to get hurt?

In the beginning, Tuan was very nice and accommodating. My move was basically a studio apartment and I was told most it would take was 3 hours. I also paid a $100 deposit. Most of my items were already boxed up, but my 2 TV’s needed to removed from the walls. This was done and understandably, they would not be remounted at my new location. One of my TV’s is cracked, and the fire stick from my other TV is gone. The move ended up being over 4 hours.

Be careful about signing the Affordable Movers receipt for service. It includes an undisclosed loss damage waiver that exempts them from even basic coverage by their insurance: $60/100 lbs of your property. Take a look at the photos. I'm out $950 + tax for refinishing without so much as an apology. I recommend staying away. It's small claims court for me.

Came 4 HOURS LATE and then refused to do the move. I TOLD THEM how bad it was. MULTIPLE TIMES before booking and they ASSURED me it was *fine*. I REITERATED how bad it was when I called after they were 2 hours late amd they STILL said it was fine. DO NOT TRUST!

We have used this company many times now. But our main big move, was 4bed with 2 sheds full of everything. This company didn't break one thing, as we normally break multiple things during a move. I was really pleased on how fast and quickly they moved everything. Even setting up the main items, like beds in each room to make our 1st night that much easier. They unloaded all items to each rooms, dressers, tvs. They covered and wrapped all our tvs and important furniture.

We all need to move at one time or another right? I have moved in Snohomish county quite a few times over last 30 years. I was driving into work and passed an Affordable Movers truck headed out towards my area. I was in need of movers for my last really big awkward hutch, two heavy book shelves, head board and foot board and gave them a call for bid. Process was smoother than the two other big movers I had called the previous month. Price was very reasonable.

I called Affordable Movers on a Tuesday and spoke to Tuan. I inquired about a move on Thursday and he handled planning it perfectly within 48 hours. He never even mentioned the lack of notice. Marcel and Daniel showed up on time to do the job and were absolutely phenomenal. They were incredibly professional and careful about opening doors knowing my dog and cat were around although I had them both contained at all times. They were very hard working, neat and tidy, and handled our belongings so gently.
