You Move Me Vancouver, WA

After having a thorough and friendly phone conversation with Kyle to quote the price of our “almost too easy” load from a 1bdrm apartment + 1 car garage, two kids with no professionalism arrived 20min late to the scheduled move with no phone call. When I attempted to call for ETA, the dispatcher could confirm my correct phone number, but had no way of knowing who was assigned to my move yet could inform me that they were on their way.

I do not recommend this company for any moving services. They claim to give “the most accurate moving estimates in the industry” but they in fact do not. I was told my one bedroom apartment would take easily 2 hours with an estimate around $322. I told them the size of my apartment, what they will be moving, and that I live on third floor and that was the estimate given to me.

The first part of the move into storage was ok however, I would advise you to supervise if you hire them to pack. They packed only a few items per box and wrapped everything including non-breakable items like plastic spice bottles. This was costly in terms of purchase boxes and packing materials not to mention the mess of excess cardboard and paper after unpacking. They also left some yard items including our wheelbarrow at the old house. The second part of the move from storage into our new home was a disaster!

used your crew on a project and the first batch of guys were a complete fiasco. I made it clear to dispatch that we were unloading furniture and that I needed panel carts, 4 wheel dollies. Instead your crew shows up with hand straps and a 2 wheel dolly. Embarrassing to say the least. The movers were not professional. Customer mentioned that they were very loud and discussed extra charges for debris removal in front of him. I am the one who hired your group and that discussion should have been made with me.

They sent two guys, Walter and Marvin. They arrived on time. I contracted for 2 hours. All they needed to do was unload a truck and use 2 set of stairs. I've moved several times and 2 hours is what it has been needed. My other movers in the other state loaded my truck also had to deal with stairs. AND they even wrapped and had to take time to make everything fit just right in the truck and strap things in, they did all that as 2 men within 2 hours!

I’ve moved many many times and I’m so disappointed They first came over to give me a quote and they were really nice, which is why I chose them originally to move me. But the guy did talk very quickly and I felt a bit rushed, but I did not put too much weight into that. Big mistake. This move was considered a long distance move and I was charged hourly. They called at 7:40ish to confirm they were on their way. That’s when the guy said, “we love long distance moves.”.Hmmmm…. That was a red flag right there.

I booked this Moving Company six months in advance and was promised that our furniture would all be completely wrapped so it would not be damaged, that plastic would be laid down on our new construction home carpet, and door frames would be wrapped prior to moving the furniture into our new home. None of those steps were taken, and then when the supervisor/owner of the company contacted me to refund us part of our money, he seemed to treat it as a business phone call and it felt like I was speaking to a car…

The reason for my 2 stars is the owner Robert's response to my concern that his crew went an hour over their estimate after we moved 2 uhauls of stuff ourselves. He was rude and dismissive. He needs customer service education. The 4 man crew was ok. They were all very nice and accommodating. 1 was new. 1 was just off an injury. The other 2 with experience tried but couldn't make up the difference.
