All My Sons Moving & Storage

This review is specifically for Eric at AllMySons. Let me keep it short so I can save at least one person: - Eric increased the price of the quote by 50% once all my items were on the truck. Didn't say a word at premove walkthrough, waited to hold my stuff ransom - Is rude and disrespectful, behaves like he belongs in a program for struggling adults - left me no option but to sleep on floor of my apartment over the weekend while he held onto my stuff and tried to even charge me storage fees while holding my stuff…

If I could give no stars I would. They are the worst movers I've ever experienced in my life. They messed up my move time from a morning move to an afternoon move and let me know the day before my move when I couldn't book somebody else. The movers didn't show up to my house until almost 4:00 in the afternoon, they didn't leave my house till after midnight. There was so much damage to my furniture and belongings, I found my fragile boxes that were marked upside down and basically thrown around.

After I posted this review one of the owners called me and offered a refund, which I appreciated. He also made arrangements to get the box of photos returned to the rightful owner. I was grateful for his efforts to make a horrible experience a bit better. HORRIBLE customer service. It took 17 phones calls from me to get them to my condo on moving day. They arrived 1 hour AFTER I was supposed to be finished. I had to move ALL my boxes and some furniture to the parking garage.

Worst moving experience would not recommend to anyone. After planning a month in advance and put a deposit for moving day. All my son’s moving and storage fell short due to its lack of professional and failure to provide its Crew members with the tools they need to succeed. I had a two man crew show up to move a bed,dresser,2 book shelves,tv and Six boxes. This should have only taken no more than 1-2 hour max. Well this did not happen because the movers didn’t have tools to dismantle bed.

I had an okay experience with this company but was disappointed to receive no communication after the job was done and my card was charged incorrectly. I was originally told the movers would be there 8-9am, the showed up after 9:30. When I received my bill I was billed for more time then the movers were actually there with no start or end time on the bill to know what I was charged for. I was also charged for moving materials I did not use. When I emailed to ask for these charges to be verified, I never heard back.

We’ve used movers many times. All my sons is way more expensive than any other movers that we have used. I assumed we would have a better quality move, and I was wrong. The movers were very nice and arrived on time but that is about the only good thing I can say about the move. With 4 movers it took way longer than previous movers, and this time we had half the stuff (we moved smaller things on our own). We also broke beds down ahead of time, with the exception of our adjustable base which they took apart.

All My Sons is buns. Training should be mandatory before they send crew members to job sites. Specific training on how to wrap/ pad furniture, how to load items in proper order, and working in a purposeful manner, as well as showing respect for clients personal items and home. It was evident that there are no standards in how All My Sons operates. I do not blame the crew, I believe this issue is with their managers.

I’m going to be 100% transparent and honest. The people that packed my stuff worked so hard and never showed a bit of frustration, discouragement or anger. That’s the positive side of my experience. Show time was between 0830-0930. They didn’t show until 1145. When they arrived, they didn’t have any tools so they had to use mine. When they called management, they said they would bring some out but never did. I sent pictures prior so they knew they needed them.
