Two Men and a Truck Moving

We used them to move. Everything went pretty well until we couldn't find my wife's very expensive designer shoes. We made sure we unpacked every box and waited for a month or two and still couldn't find them. We thought no big deal we bought their insurance. It was 3 tiered and we bought the most expensive. We wanted all of the protection. It was a big move and we have alot of nice things. I contacted Frank and it took two weeks and he didnt get back to me I had to make the call to him.

Do not use this service. First, this is a franchise, not a single company. When I did a Google search this location came up first even though I am way south. I asked if they had any closer dispatch areas and they told me they did not, that Marysville was their only location. I did not know it was a franchise and that other locations exist, and so that's on me. Then when it came to packing my belongings, they sent me an estimate for 2 movers. The day of packing 3 men showed up.

If you want a service that is 4X more expensive than other local companies and can’t even take the time to spell your name correctly, I’d recommend two men and a truck! I spoke with Marie Young about obtaining a quote and it was probably the worst experience I’ve had with any moving company. I ultimately decided not to use Two Men and a Truck because of their outrageous costs and condescending/rude nature. My advice, look around!

I will start off that moving is a very hard job and I appreciate the effort done. Here is the deal however: 1. Why would you ever double book for moving especially for a 3 bedroom/ 2 bath apartment on the 3rd floor without an elevator. The inventory that I gave them was very close to the actual inventory. In fact, it was even less by a few big items. I assumed that 3.25 hours was an estimate and then was told they have another move and need to leave by a certain time which was less than the allotted time.

Over-paid and un-satisfied. Company: Two Men and A Truck Move Date: April 2, 2021 Final cost: $480 ($160/hr) Labor: 2 movers from the company plus my whole family of 3 Work: 3 sets of furniture (7 items total) on a 8 miles move. What happened: I had to disassemble the bedframe myself (was promised the movers had their tools and will disassemble for me, nope, they did not); my parents also put in labor moving the furniture upstairs; and too much time spent chatting (~30-45 min) instead of working.

I'd give the actual movers 3.5 stars, however the office staff and business practices would get 1 star. The "binding estimate" for our move was over by 1,000 pounds. This means that they basically overcharged us by around $500. It's criminal how the estimate is only "binding" one way. Which is to say, if their estimate is over by, say a thousand pounds, they still charge you the full estimated amount. However, if their estimate is under at all, they will charge you the difference.

These guys advertise they care about you the customer. We were treated poorly. The kids, (boys) that were the actual movers were not at all caring. They damaged a lot of our belongings. They admitted to breaking a chair that was one of many pieces that they just kinda threw into the moving truck. They damaged our Formal Cherry wood Dining room table and chairs. They damaged our cherry wood office furniture. They just did the bare minimum of moving our household.

Second time moving was just as smooth as the first time. Moving team is great and they make our lives so much easier. Thank you! Highly recommend. Update 4/29: My wife and I sold our house and put our stuff in storage back in February. Come to find out after this second move two drawers of priceless, sentimental items were stolen. The three drawer stand was originally shrink wrapped but when it was moved back into our new house the two bottom drawers were removed.
