Affordable Moving

Worst experience ever. They started 3 hours late they took numerous breaks only had about an hours worth of moving that took them 4 hours to do I had my friends come over and we helped them move the bags because they were so slow. Them they ruined 2 pieces of my furniture and refuse to call me so I can make a claim. DO NOT ISE THESE PEOPLE!!!

This guy is the worst to deal with and is not a fair person. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!! Way over charged an individual for the price included set up fees and then refused to set it up without even looking at the property first taking the job. Then, doesn't even credit the client for not setting everything up!!! Rude and unprofessional!!!

I would not use this company. I was told they would call me between 8am-10am for an out of town move. My wife left at 6am to go to the house we were moving in. They never called. I called at 10:30am and the said they were running late. Then noon rolls around and still no call. I called them back and they said actually I was never scheduled. So I guess they just lied the first time. They said they could move me Monday but I had to be out of the house by Sunday.

Dropped and broke desk. Our biggest complaint was the charges we weren’t aware of because we never recieved an invoice. Came as a surprise and we felt it was shady. Final problem was a stolen weapon that we filed a theft report with the police and c/o to management and weapon was returned to us by the mover!

Absolute worst experience. I don’t like to take the time to write a negative review simply because I understand things happen, and businesses like anybody else have bad days too BUT this was insanely ridiculous from start to finish! I scheduled a move two weeks ago for yesterday August 19 between 9-11 am with Bria (she was great). The day of the move at around 10 am I called to follow up, no one had reached out to me with ETA, I had no idea if they were still coming it was after 10 am.

I must say I had the worst movers ever. They sent me a new guy and a small female . i was very skeptical when I seen them but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They damaged my couch, they scratched up my furniture, they broke my bed frame, they damage my Head/footboard , scratched up my closet and walls. They almost broke my washer trying to force it into the laundry room I had to call somebody over to come take the door down for them so they could get it in there...

My grandparents hired this company to load their heavy items on to a trailer that was provided. The men were supposed to be here by 8am. My husband came and moved bigger items from downstairs, to make it easier on the men. They called 10 minutes after 8 saying they may not show because one man called in! Yes it's raining, but they were going to get paid! They showed just before 9am. Kind of clueless. They did unnecessary things. Basically took the whole refrigerator apart when all that was need was the handles.

I booked services for Affordable Moving to move my 2bdrm house. It was slated to start between 9am-11am. The movers arrived at 12:37pm saying there were truck issues. There was very poor communication all morning. Strike 1. The movers accidentally got rust on my couch from the outdoor furniture. It permanently stained the couch and headboard. They would not provide reimbursement for cleaning services. There were also black stains on other furniture because the truck was so dirty. Strike 2.
