So I call them to move a safe I purchased at an estate sale, and one of the guys working the sale mentioned they had picked up a big lathe. They wanted pictures so I sent two pictures and explained the move. It was from garage to garage, an in town move. I waited the rest of that day and the next with no reply. I call and it goes to answering machine. If they didn’t want to move it they should have just said so, instead of wasting my time. Very unprofessional, no follow up.
Mr Hundley, I am very sorry I did not respond your text message. That is my mistake, I definitely did not intentionally ignore it. My sincere apologies.
I unfortunately am writing this review because my parents had a horrible experience with Mighty Movers and I would like to warn others of their practices. In June of 2022 they hired Mighty Movers to help move boxes into their new home since they are both in their 70s. Their work was fine. However, one of the movers stole $10,000 from an envelope that my mother had set out so that she could pay the movers in cash. My parents confronted the owners of Mighty Movers.

Called a few weeks in advance to schedule our move. They said there was availability for the days we were moving. Sent a gentleman out to look at our house items and go over costs and said they’d email me the quote after he had left. I never received the quote, so I called back in and they sent it over. There were more charges than what was discussed at the walk through, so I kindly asked to confirm what was correct.

Damaged furniture late getting to my apt....they block 4 hrs for your move whether you need it or not....1st and last tome I used them
Deb, I'm sorry you feel your experience was less than awesome. We did attend to your complaints, as agreed upon, promptly after you notified us back in October. Even though we may have blocked four hours for your move, our minimum is only two hours. After that, we pro-rate it to the half hour.
While going to my storage unit a Mighty Movers crew was there and very unprofessional!!! They were in front of my storage unit…not a problem and figured he would take 5 seconds to move a small box with plastic hangers in it to the side for a second but instead I was told by Tyler to wait a minute while he went and grabbed a couch to put in the unit he was putting items into!

I'm sorry you had this experience; moving can be very stressful. I would just like to point out that all of your furniture was wrapped and secured on the truck. We do not pad wrap items until they get on the truck.

With so many good reviews I really wondered whether Mighty Movers could be THAT good. They are. We were blown away by the whole experience with Taylor and his crew, who arrived on time and worked REALLY hard for the entire day. They were problem solvers from start to finish. I would have bet $1000 that a full sized refrigerator and a recliner couch and an overstuffed chair would not make it down the staircase to the lower level.

Mighty Movers has helped us relocate twice in the last three years: once locally and the most recent, across the state. The owners and their workers are great people who do what they promise. They took excellent care of our belongings. They showed up on time and worked fast without it feeling reckless. We received great work at a fair price. First, let's talk about Sherry, the owner. I was scheduled to move on a Wednesday, with a time slot between 11 a.m.and 1 p, m. She contacted me the evening before and asked me if I wanted to move up to 8 a.m. and I nearly began crying. I simply wasn't ready and things had snowballed in my downsizing projects. Her response? "Why in the world didn't you call me? We need to give you another week! Would that help you?" This is the type of company you will be dealing with if you choose Mighty Movers.

Honestly, I was nervous about hiring movers for the first time. I didn't need to be! Mason, Tyler, and Austin from Mighty Movers exceeded every expectation!! They showed up on time, came with a plan, and executed flawlessly. They were more careful with our stuff than I would have been myself — and that says a lot. I had a very large, heavy desk I was genuinely worried about (both for the desk and for them), and they handled it like pros without missing a beat.
