Rented a unit explaining that I need to go through my things and organize my stuff. The guy seemed to understand and help me decide on what size I needed. The same day as I moved my stuff in I was in my unit going through my stuff as I had told the guy I needed to do when the manager rode up on a golf cart and told me I was loitering. I responded I'm not loitering and then apparently by me having my shirt off inside of my unit while sweating my butt off was against the rules as well.
The Affordable storage on 50th & Ave Q scams college kids and is anything but affordable. I was told online when I signed up for a drive up unit that it cost $53 for one month and when I got there it turned out to be $180 and that it was only $53 per month for a three month rate. The email explicitly stated $53 for one month and this was not correct. Really inconvenient and wrong for them to change it when I’m already at the unit with my u haul and furniture ready to move it in the storage. Do better
Be careful doing business with this company, they assure you the price you sign a rental contract for and that amount and it will not change, they start you out at a low price per square foot and the begin raising your rent consecutively beginning the third month until your paying the highest rates in comparison to any company inside the city limits.
I was issued a rate increase after being customer for about 3 years. Called staff to negotiate rate down, and we were able to reach agreement. Unfortunately the staff did not register the new rate and I was charged two months with same …
They wanted us to pay 100.00 for a 5 X 5, when it said in it's advertising it was supposed to cost 28.00. So we went to Discount Storage on Avenue Q and had no problems getting a small unit for the right price.
Trash place!!! Didn’t give me my money back even though they promised to give it back!! Never doing business with them again

Amazing customer service! The facility is secure and have security cameras to watch the entire facility. When you go into the office they have a area that has every size of storage unit in the office so you can actually see the real example of what size unit's they have there. The facility is very clean too. They sell locks in the office too!! I just can't say enough how great this storage facility is. If you're looking for a storage of any size please go see them!!
