In their own words
I thought they were great, but no customer service. All my belongs came from out of state and I had to move to a different town. When I finally moved back to Lubbock one of my boxes was missing after unpacking a couple of months later. I contacted the office and spoke with Justin the manager, said he would look at the camera and get back with me and let me know. He never called so I called back several times and it was always an excuse he could never get on the phone.
Thank your for the opportunity to work for you!
Hired them to move me in May and I am still finding broken things! The latest is my king size bed. I kept thinking something was wrong. I looked under the bed and the two middle legs are broken. Along with several expensive glass pieces when I unpacked them. On top of all of that, they way overcharged me.
Overall we were pretty disappointed with our experience with Little Guys Movers of Lubbock. We hired them in July to pack all our belongings and move them into pods that would be shipped to our new home. There were multiple areas in which we wish things had been better, and we will detail them below. It seemed like the movers were not equipped to handle our move from the start. They were an hour+ late to arrive due to not having the correct equipment at their workplace.
HORRIBLE!!! These guys came over and gave me a quote, then scheduled a date for their San Angelo office to assist with our move. They showed up at my door a month earlier than scheduled-they had recorded the incorrect date for the move. When I called to try to reschedule, I was told that they had no record of even speaking to me about a move. They were going to have their manager take a look at it and call me back-they never called me back.
I hired them to move some furniture. They raised the original price with no changes taken place. The only reason I looked at them again is because I had a move coming up and needed strong men. The men they sent the first time were very strong so I requested them for the second move. I told the company there would be changes as the move was a month away. They gave me a price the month before the move. I made some slight changes and they went up $400. The changes shouldn’t have been even close to that amount extra.
We are sorry to lose your business Richard. We were trying to communicate clearly with you about our up front pricing structure.
First of all - the movers were fantastic. Hard working, flexible, and respectful with our belongings. However, I do not feel the management staff was transparent in quoting us for our move from Houston to Lubbock. We completed a full inventory for our move. The rep told mentioned if we opted to do it on our own, we should ensure we get the biggest moving truck. The team arrived with a rented truck that was not the largest, and lacked the typical attic used for boxes.
Thank you for taking the time to give me feedback from your recent job. Any feedback I receive is always useful in creating better movers and a better product for future customers. I am sorry you were not completely satisfied with the service you recently received.
I used this company before and it was great, but now it's like no longer Little Guy Movers, it's big stuffy company movers. I set up an appointment to have my office moved recently. It's just a one room office and when I originally talked to them I gave them an inventory of the major pieces that needed to be moved. Then, I get a call back early in the morning the next day and it's like, have I verified the list of stuff to be moved?
Hey Jimmy, thanks for reaching out to us with your frustrations about our estimate process. Often times our pricing is done by the piece rather than by the hour. We like to get a complete inventory of the items to be moved so there aren't any surprises at the end of the process- it's just the right…
BEWARE…… I was setting up a local move from my apartment to a local storage unit. I called prior the first time to get a date set, time, along with what needed to be moved, etc. I talked to a guy on the phone and he gave me an estimate (he was suppose to send an email yet never did). I got back to the company following day or so to confirm as he said that’s fine, it’ll be saved.
Jack, thank you for sharing your review. We have an up front pricing structure were we only charge you for the items and boxes that we move as well as the time and materials that it takes to pack those boxes. We do our best to anticipate and eliminate any variables of a move before we arrive.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I made a post with 5 stars at the end of last year, and every single one of those stars was earned, but this year… We uprooted our world in Lubbock and headed to Liberty Hill. Cameron Yeoman was very communicative through the planning process. He was patient to answer my questions and was simply a pleasure to work with. A team consisting of Carlos Avila, Nate Cuellar, Quan Tillman and Hayden Hamlin showed up bright and early on Monday morning and made the 6hour drive to LH.
Wow — thank you so much for taking the time to share such an incredible review! It truly means a lot that you chose us again and trusted our team with such a big move. We’re thrilled to hear that Cameron, Carlos, Nate, Quan, and Hayden made the process smooth from start to finish and that their…
An A+ move all the way around. Good price. Excellent communication. Courteous, careful workers. We couldn’t be more happy.
Hey Jerry, Thanks for the kind words! It was a pleasure working with you!
I don't have much experience with movers, but our recent move was great!!!. From our visit with the office staff who carefully listened to our moving needs, our inventory of items to be moved, and their careful questioning which jogged our memories about items we hadn't thought of or remembered, Little Guys Movers was able to give us a fair and reasonable quote to move us to Shallowater from Denver City.
Thank you so much, Herb! We hope you enjoy the new house!
The move I just completed is my 12th move since starting college, and I have to say this was the easiest yet. This is largely thanks to Little Guys. From the first contact I had with Cameron I felt taken care of. After coming to inventory my stuff, I received multiple quotes for several different options I was considering. I ended up choosing to let Little Guys move my stuff into their truck and take it to Fort Worth. I'm so glad I did. Anthony Coleman and Quan Tillman were absolutely amazing.
Mikka, thank you so much for the review! We understand how stressful moving can be and are so happy we were able to make it easier on you. Good luck in Ft. Worth!
