Tough Guys Moving - Lubbock, TX

Poor Morals!! let me just break this down in segments.... I scheduled a move, they showed up late, they forgot straps and supplies, they came back, backed into my car, damaged my car, driver did not have license, scratched up my floors, left to the new house, told me they needed gas.... showed up 45 min because they were hungry and decided to go to lunch while I'm paying all this by the hour, moved into my new house, damaged my furniture, left tools behind at the original house, had to go get it to put my…

We chose this company for moving since their price is lowest. However, their service should receive a zero rating and we regret deeply to choose them. The main issues are the professionalism and quality of the service: 1) They quoted the price low so they only send 2 guys to move a 3500sqft house. It took more than 6 hours to load the truck which was quoted as 3-4 hours. 2) The persons to offload in the new house were different crew than the ones to move the old house.

Incredibly disappointed. My husband and I booked movers from 12-3 on Saturday and they never showed up. We waited until 1:30 pm to call, no answer. Finally at 2:45 we received a call back saying the job they were on was taking longer than anticipated and they were unable to come today. We were originally quoted $265 for the first two hours and $165 for every hour after that. My My husband very kindly compromised and asked for a discount ($200 for the first two hours) if they came on Sunday.

Scheduled to move our kids and then didn't show up the day of the move. Phone number they gave was disconnected. Finally called us and gave all kinds of excuses. Said they couldn't make it till the following day, no discount. WASTED OUR ENTIRE DAY WAITING ON THEM. WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. These jerks turned what was going to be a joyful moving day into their first new home, into a stressful, unproductive day of sitting and waiting for the movers to show up, which they never did. How unprofessional is that?

These people are not professional movers. They loaded 2 trucks with my property for a 290 mile move within Texas. When they arrived at the location I was moving to, they would not unload until I signed a " document." After they unloaded, they were gone. It was then that I discovered numerous items were either heavily damaged or destroyed. Too late to point the damage out to the movers, but I'm sure they arranged it that way.

This really deserves zero stars since we didn't even get to use their service. My partner and I had scheduled movers to come out this past weekend. Granted it was a bit short notice, but definitely more than 24 hours and it was an unexpected quick need to get out of our house this weekend. However, Tough Guys never showed or even called!!! We had received a confirmation text. We waited and waited, but nothing.

Originally scheduled this company to do a local move on June 3rd at 4 p.m. I got a call from Paige (who i originally scheduled with and was very nice) that they could come at 3 p.m.. Perfect no problem. She called again and said their prior move was running late so it would be 5 p.m. No problem, I still have some things I can do, unpacking ect. 5 p.m. rolls around. I am ready to go, no truck yet.

The movers were scheduled to show at 8 AM and called at 815 to let me know they would be late. They finally showed up at 9. Showed up with largest truck to move my house. They didn't have to pack just dis assembly and load 2 beds, 4 dressers, 1 couch, I love seat, 1 recliner, 2 bedside tables, I coffee table, 2 end tables, washer and dryer, and a freezer. This is all they could load in that HUGE truck.
