These guys STOLE my television! (And likely a bunch of other stuff.) They moved things in a timely manner, but be sure to keep an eye on them. Go into their truck and front seat when everything is done and make sure they aren't trying to hide anything.

Local move in town just 10 minutes apart. I had already moved most of my belongings including fragile items. Thank goodness. The move cost just me almost $900 plus tip (which was extra on top of the move charges) for a few boxes and furniture from a small home all single story. Took 4 guys to do. I've moved 8 times across country and with much more going on and had better moves. They knowingly broke the base of a $200 lamp, lost the top shade screw, and said nothing.

The move started out fairly well, when I talked to the manager her suggestion was that with three when we got to my new place I would have two people bringing in my items and one to reassemble my items. So, I paid for three, the two young men worked very hard taking dolly loads in the house. The older man would bring in an occasional single box. The only thing that was put together was my bed. I had each room assigned a different color of duct tape for easy placement.
At Albuquerque Discount Movers, we aim to provide all our clients with excellent service. We accommodated your requested delay and desire to have everything moved on the same day as well as signed documents stating you agreed to these charges.
I wish I could give them zero stars if I could. The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. Tina, cancelled my appointment the day my move was scheduled without letting me know. My move was scheduled for 12pm. I received two voicemails the day of the move at 8:13am and another at 9:47 asking me to confirm my appointment immediately or my move will be cancelled. I was in a meeting the morning of from 8:00 to about 11:30am and was unable to return Tina’s VM.
Carlos, given that we’ve had an issue with cancellations while our crew was on their way to your location in the past, we felt the need to confirm your appointment this time around. Since we didn’t receive your confirmation, we regrettably had no choice but to cancel.
Called to set up a time to get this service. Locked into a time for moving. About an half hour after got a call back asking if we really need to move at said time(obviously since I called for service). And when it came to said day for service I get a call saying they would be able to do it next week. I'm sorry but that kind of customer service is not acceptable. People generally call a company because they have a need. And instead of saying that everything is set. Next minute it isn't.

The work was excellent. But the quote was deceptive. I was quoted 130 per hour. With a 3 man team. I received 2 men and with the small print was charged a minimum of 2 hours and travel time. My job took less than an hour And I knew it was going to be less than an hour !!! Being a 70 year old woman on SSI I believe I was taken advantage of. With a charge well over what I was quoted. 130 was the quote from Tina Over and over again I saw the quote of 130. This Company is Deceptive!!!!

We have used this company for ourselves and our grown children several times and they are always prompt, courteous, efficient and we would use no one else. However, we used them again today to move 1 piece of furniture. Their total time was 1/2 your and it cost $271.31. Their reasoning was that prices have gone up and she said "I guess I should have told you. 2 hour minimum@$95 PLUS 47.50 1/2 HOUR TRAVEL time, PLUS $14.50 for fuel!!! After using them for years NEVER AGAIN.

From the very first communication I knew that I would be taken care of. These movers were excellent and totally different that the other company I used here in ABQ. I highly recommend them. They were on time. Communicated throughout the process. Worked fast and throughly. Polite. Everything you want in a moving company. Pricing was about average for around town and not over priced. Upfront about all cost and no hidden cost at the end of your move. Honest company which I would recommend.

I had a great experience with ABQ Discount Movers right from the very start. Tina, who took my initial call, explained all options and pricing in a very clear, concise manner. And she didn't leave anything out, down to the $14 fuel surcharge. I knew exactly what to expect on my bill at the end of the move, no surprise charges.

This is our third cross country move, and I have to say that the three guys from ABQ discount movers gave us the best moving experience we've ever had. They were able to somehow squeeze all of our belongings from a 1300sq ft house into a 8x8x16 PODs unit that was probably undersized for what we needed. There was obvious expertise in the way Joseph was able to fit and secure everything neatly and completely to the top of the trailer.

Albuquerque Discount Movers were wonderful. When I realized I would be moving during the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided I would enlist the help of professionals rather than cashing in on favors owed by friends. I called Two Men and a Truck, but the quote they gave me was far above my budget. I called Albuquerque Discount Movers and spoke to Tina, who gave me a reasonable quote. Tina was friendly, professional, and kept me updated via text messages and phone calls throughout the process.
