Flex Moving & Storage

J & Q at Flex seemed like they were doing an incredible job with my move. They were punctual, professional, and handled my belongings with care or at least that’s what I thought at first. They were the team that packed me up, but they didn’t have basic tools because theirs were apparently taken. Their trailer was too small, which wasn’t their fault, but it definitely set the tone for how things would go. Let me be clear: the team was kind, genuinely.

DO NOT USE! I had one of the worst moving experiences of my life with Flex. I paid over $2,000 to move just 5 miles, and the service was completely unacceptable. Movers showed up late, the crew was short-staffed, and a major portion of my belongings didn’t even arrive until hours later—bringing the entire move to a halt. Workers came and went throughout the day, leaving one person to do most of the job.

I have moved around multiple times for work. This is easily the worst moving experience I have ever had. I contacted flex storage in early September for an interstate move (about 4.5 hr drive) scheduled for September 25th. We confirmed the date for September 25th. And they confirmed that my items would be picked up and delivered on September 25th A few days before the move they sent a confirmation email to confirm the date of September 25th and I responded confirming the date was correct.

⭐ 1 Star – Deceptive and Unprofessional! Beware! I wish I had read the reviews before booking with Flex Moving & Storage. Michaelangelo (the “highest supervisor”) and Joey (also a supervisor) were a nightmare to deal with. I requested a quote for 2 movers, 2 hours going 13 miles and got an email for $480–$600. Joe (not Joey) called and quoted $480, but after I told him I had lower quotes, he said he’d “work some magic” and came back with a quote that was $5 less than the lowest quote I had already received from a…

This is the worst moving company. They canceled our move after they already picked up our items from storage. Flex never gave us any paperwork telling us how many trailers they used. We didn't hear from Flex for several weeks after they canceled our move, even though they had all our home goods. When we finally arranged for another moving company, Flex only gave our new movers access to two, not all three trailers. Only when we unpacked our items did we realize we were missing a lit of moving boxes.

Was super happy with the customer service at first, but once the move actually began I completely lost contact with the moving company. I had a 4-6pm move scheduled which ended up going until 11:30 at night due to delays and miscommunications between the movers and the management team. If you have issues outside of business hours be prepared to be routed to an answering service that can only documents the issues. The movers themselves were very nice which was the only really my review was not one star.

EDITING MY REVIEW!! Unfortunately I’m having to come here and change my review! Though the movers were great this company never follows what they tell you on the phone so BEWARE! First time I had a problem with billing, I was like ok, it happens they fixed ( only because Josh and Raven stepped in).. I give them a second chance and move again, now a storage unit only! They overcharged me by $300 and stopped answering my emails!

I strongly recommend that no one EVER hire Flex Moving and Storage. They did not show up, were uncontactable, and showed no concern for customer inconvenience. Here is the story, it is long, it is sad, and hopefully a little entertaining: I scheduled 2 moves with Flex Moving and Storage; they made lots of promises. Including a Veteran discount. The first pickup from my storage unit went off all right. Though they were not able to move everything they promised to move.
