Two Men and a Truck Moving

I used Two Men and a Truck for a local move from Dallas (proper) to Plano in November 2021. This was my second moving experience with the company. The previous move was nearly flawless (from Fort Worth to Grapevine), but this time there were a few issues that would cause me to think twice about using them a third time. First of all, there is no one available after Noon on a Saturday in the office. I called just to make sure that the movers were still arriving on time.

We hired Two Men and a Truck (TMT) to pack one day, and then load onto a third party trailer the next day, for our interstate move. When we found a house and the trailers arrived, we were shocked at what we found! The company we hired to unload at our new location opened the truck, removed the bulkhead, and exposed a jumbled mess of furniture toppled on top of each other. The guys from the other moving company said they had never seen anything like it.

I had the McKinney branch move and pack us last month. The service was horrible. They are unresponsive and unprofessional. Due to their negligence, several items are destroyed. We purchased the extra insurance and what they offered us is not even 1/10 of replacing our items. I would not even give them 1 star.. but I had to put something. Thank you for your response. Please note, that we have contacted Veronica, your customer care manager and she still has not returned our call in 2 days.

This company will damage your furniture and will not fairly compensate you for their incompetence. To be clear, the head mover was awesome. His name was John. But there was one mover in the group of 4 that put unwrapped pieces of furniture on the bottom of the dolly and damaged that furniture considerably. That mover was fired on the spot, but the parent company refuses to compensate us fairly for the ruined furniture. They've agreed to pay 60 cents per pound. That is about $60 for $1000 worth of furniture.

The worst moving company I have ever used. My estimate was around $500, but I was charged over $900 for the move. I had a king size bed, a dresser, and 3 TVs with the biggest one being a 55 inch. The rest of the items were small, medium, and large boxes from the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and closet. They claim that they disassemble and reassemble furniture; however, they only show up with a screw driver. My bed was professionally put together with a drill not a screwdriver.

Used this company to move from Dallas to Fort Worth. While the crew was good, they wouldn't hook / rehook any water lines to washer/dryers. I'm a single woman, and while I could figure it out, I found out DURING the move. So when I moved into my new home, I had to get someone else to come help hook up the washer/dryer lines. As of today, about two months from the move, I went to make ice and realized they didn't hook up the water line on the fridge...which is in a tight spot.

Do not use this location of Two Men and a Truck unless you want your furniture and home damaged! I was asked by the manager of this location not to write this review until they could fix what was damaged. We moved in June and it is now October. Plenty of time has passed for them to take care of this problem. Below is a list: Scratched wood floor from the house we moved from-this was fixed by Two Men. This problem would not have occurred if the floors had been covered in the first place.

The men who did the actual packing and moving were wonderful. The management who communicate were horrible. I scheduled this weeks in advance, picked the first morning 8am timeslot. A manager called at 8:30am that day saying they double booked and would be there at 11am once they finished the other customer AND told me that he would add an additional man to help at no cost.
