All My Sons Moving & Storage

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage was extremely disappointing. I was originally quoted $200 per hour and told there might be a small additional travel fee. However, I was never informed about extra charges for packaging materials, which were added without any transparency. I was also told that my $100 deposit would be credited toward the final total, which did not happen. Instead, I was charged $1,132 for what should have been a very simple move.

Luis was the guy who sold me on this service. I needed sealed boxes to be moved to a professional office space and for the office furniture to be built. Summary of 2 tables, printer holder, 2 file cabinets, 20 chairs, and a front desk. They quoted me for $539 total and said this was a 1 hour move and 2 to 3 hour built out, which I thought was great. The moving portion was quick simple and profesional. Now the build out was a a zero out of zero. They charge hourly and per staff member.

I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. What was estimated to be a 9-hour move for a 4-bedroom apartment turned into a 2-day move because the crew worked extremely slowly and inefficiently. After 7 hours on the first day, they hadn’t even finished moving two bedrooms. The truck was poorly packed, and there was no organization when using the building elevator, which caused even more delays. My original estimate was no more than $2,000, but I was ultimately charged $4,500.

Overall the movers who did the work were great but I ended up really disappointed with All My Sons as a company. Their processes and customer service didn't live up to the size of the contract. I didn’t get to choose All My Sons for this move as it was part of a corporate contract where they were providing hundreds of labor hours and months of storage for more than 50 moves in total. In my case, All My Sons moved all my stuff to their storage, kept it for two months and then delivered it at my new place.

Dear New Customers, I would advise you not to use this company for any services due to the following below. 1. They aren't up front with their pricing. 2. The workers will stop and take breaks on your timing so that you get charged more money. 3. They are very unprofessional and it took them over 4 hours to move simple things into a one bedroom apartment. 4. They broke things while moving them into my one bedroom apartment. 5.

Please keep away from this company if you don’t want to be hit with a 3x charge over what you were told you’d pay. We were told a price of $153 per hour no extra fees no added cost we would just have to pay this rate for both the labor time and the travel time it takes to reach the destination. We called back repeatedly multiple times to make sure this was correct and also that the time was scheduled properly. We were reassured this was accurate.

Don't get caught by this company. They're agreement is a scam, I thought they were a reputable company because they're all over the country and they literally agreed to a payment per hour that I thought it was a great deal. 1.⁠ ⁠They make it slow to charge for more hours (7 hours for a e bedroom apartment already packed in boxes with just 1 king bed and 2 twin beds almost no furniture) 2.⁠ ⁠They charge you additional fee for the materials they use and they charged me $400 for boxes, plastic wrap and tape.

Move date was last month. While talking to the customer service representative during booking, she SEVERLY underestimated the length of time it would take to move a 2 bed/2bath unit. Not only did they take twice the length of time to move, it ended up being a 2-day fiasco. And yes, you have to pay extra to "store" your things on their truck overnight. It became an issue because the condos were very particular about elevator timing/reservations, so be aware of that if you're in a condo/apt.
