All My Sons Moving & Storage

My experience with All My Sons was incredibly stressful and overpriced. While the initial booking was professional, everything went downhill on moving day (Sunday, May 24). The Delay: I was given a 9:00 am–10:30 am window. By 12:22 pm, no one had called. Hostile Management: When I called for an update, the representative implied I was lying about my window and threatened to cancel my move because I questioned their timeline. Incomplete & Careless Work: A crew finally arrived at 4:30 pm.

This place is awful and they are crooked! It took them nine hours to move our one bedroom apartment. They didn’t bring the tools they needed to move, they had to borrow some of our moving equipment, my husband had to help load things onto a dolly for them, they took a 2 hour lunch break that we had to pay for. They ruined our brand new couch and they broke a coffee table. They shattered two boxes because they kept dropping things off the dolly.

I hired All My Sons because of all the great reviews, so I was completely astonished whenever my moved wasn’t a 5 star experience. First, I scheduled my moved about 3 months ahead of time. They took my $100 deposit but refused to send me a confirmation email. It took several calls to the office and I finally received my confirmation email within less than a week prior to the move. Second, the movers did a terrible job of wrapping my furniture.

I would not recommend this moving company to anyone.My move was a 11-mile (or 14 mile if you take the longest route) relocation within Arlington, TX, and it turned into one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve had with a service company. They charge by the hour, but the movers worked extremely slowly, which felt intentional. At one point, both movers went into the truck and didn’t come out for nearly six minutes — and when they did, they were only carrying four boxes on a dolly.

I wouldn't recommend this company. Boxes were clearly marked with marks a lot pens on top of the boxes and with fragile stickers on the side. Boxes were delivered upside down, sideways and not to the correct rooms. I wasn't told until they arrived to load the boxes that they would not unload until they were paid in full for estimated time to unload. I don't remember being told about the 18% fuel or something surcharge, but I might have been.

We thought our first team was fantastic! Then the second team sent, to unload a few days later were told there were only 9 items! When they opened our POD, it was very obvious that there wasn't much care taken with our belongings. Dining table was dissambled, but not wrapped. The dining chairs were perched on top of other things, and not wrapped. Boxes marked fragile were placed underneath heavier non-fragile boxes. One of our dressers has a chunk of wood taken out of one of the legs.

I’m just starting to think that no moving company actually cares about your furniture anymore. I had better hopes for this company and for the expensive price tag you’d think the job would have been better done. They charged 1,060 for less than 5 hrs of work and were just careless . I had to say stuff during the move and so did my sister who was watching them load up our stuff as well. My pieces are older some antique furniture and some vintage furniture.

This was by far the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. People always ask why do I use big companies to move me well this is the one and first time I absolutely regret it. Not to mentioned I was charged almost 1400 and had 1 bedroom, living room, dining room, washer and dryer and a refrigerator. No clothes nor boxes all of that I moved myself before movers arrived. I also had pre wrapped dressers prior to movers. Bought my own wrap as suggested during my confirmation for the move.
