All My Sons Moving & Storage

When we originally set the appointment we paid our deposit and they gave us the total price per hour and an estimate on how much it would be to move. The range of $500-600 was discussed. We had everything pre packed in boxes, 1 small couch and one mattress. We moved less than a mile down the street from a condo into a single story home. We left the guys both a tip which they never thanked us for. When the movers arrived at the new home they gave us a bill for over $1,000 minus our deposit which was $100.

TLDR: Rude crew. Didn't wrap any of my furniture and now it's damaged. When I asked about this I was told by Ryan (the crew lead) that I'll get a call about the claims process. Well a few days went by and I didn't hear anything so I called myself and I was told that they were emailing me the forms. It's been 5 days and I haven't received anything. Maybe this will get their attention.

They don't have you sign a contract until the move is in progress. They show you what seems like a 20 page document with very small print on an Ipad. They dont stand behind their work! THEY RIPPED A HOLE IN MY SOFA ONLY 4 YEARS OLD BOUGHT AT LAZBOY. I REACHED OUT TO LAZBOY FOR REPAIR THEY QUOTE ME $475.00. I filed a claim with AMS the same day as the move 30 days later, I get an email with A DocuSign that all they will pay is 60 cents per pound. A concept that is unique to the Transportation Industry.

Joe is difficult to deal with. He is a total jerk with no care for politeness or understanding. They refused to do the job but would not return the deposit. Go somewhere else. Don't mess with these people. They did nothing by their so-called protocol. He also is very rude but will tell you don't call me back or stop calling me. So much for resolution.

I got a quote for 159 an hour. I was told ,I’d get a confirmation email in minutes. Never got one. Called next day to verify, and surprisingly the fee has gone up to 189.

EDIT: UPDATE. They called me and 'warned me' that my comment is against their agreement and i need take my review down, despite it being accurate and not slander in any way. Their agreement also stated they would move my tv. So it's meaningless if they can break it. Also, the response provided a phone number to call that isn't even in service. The owner will lie about what they cover and offer, then ghost you and pay you $40 for $350 worth of damages. They also are dishonest about what they are willing to move.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with any customer service in my life. I never write reviews and rarely complain, but this wasn’t just disappointing it was extremely frustrating. The owner is the rudest person I’ve ever talked to from a business. I last minute needed someone to help with my grandparents moving into an assisted living facility and was willing to pay more than it was worth to do it last minute. The price was too high, but I was okay with it because we needed the help.

I used All My Sons Moving in July of 2024 and in my experience with the office I was highly impressed and couldn’t wait for how seamlessly this move was going to be. The moment my movers arrived all that faith was gone. The leader of the crew seemed confused and the guys walked around without touching, packing or moving an item for the first 30 mins. Once they started everything kept going down hill. I regret using All My Sons Moving.
