All My Sons Moving & Storage

If zero Stars was an option, that’s what I would choose. All My Sons was very promising, but unfortunately dropped the ball, majorly. Not only did they over charge us $700 but they didn’t finish the job. They showed up at 10am, with 5 guys but forgot supplies for the job at the Charlotte office so my husband had to go get it for them but by 2:00PM 2 of them quit because of a “paperwork” issue. My Husband ended up having to help them the whole time because they were running so behind.

Workers were very unprofessional and did not take care of our personal items as they should. They marked up our previous homes floor, scratched up the banister in our new home, and left packing items in both homes for us to dispose of. I was told I could leave items in drawers and it wouldn’t be a problem. DO NOT DO THIS! I am now missing my engagement ring with my grandmothers diamond because it rolled around in the drawer and clearly fell out somewhere in transition.

Truly terrible experience. Was booked for an afternoon in- town move. Only moving furniture- no boxes. I called at 2:00 to make sure they were still coming. Was told they were finishing a job by 2:30 and they would head directly to me. They showed at 4:45 with 2 movers. I asked twice if they had time to complete the move that day and was assured they would. As they were moving they told me they wouldn’t move my treadmill (even though I specifically asked about it when booking) or a non-working grandfather clock.

Absolutely Unacceptable – Worst Moving Experience I’ve Ever Had We hired All My Sons to move our small 2-bedroom apartment, and the experience was beyond disappointing. Two movers showed up. One of them was on the phone almost the entire time and barely worked. He moved extremely slowly and contributed very little to the job. For a small apartment, the move took 8 hours, which is completely unreasonable given the size.

Nothing against the movers... just the company itself. For starters they arrived earlier than what my original appointment time was which was 10:30 but received a call around 8 to get my 15 minute notice of their arrival. I was also mislead in getting all the necessary information upon when I first scheduled my move.

This was the worst move we’ve ever experienced. We are renovating and needed items moved from just the upstairs of our house. Very simple, no boxes or miscellaneous items. Beds, dressers, couch and table. The movers were 2 hours late, took FOREVER to move anything. Scratched our floors, and broke one of the dressers so much so that we had to get rid of it. And one of the movers tried to tell us the dressers was already damaged and it wasn’t his fault 🙄 They were unprofessional and slow.

Not sure where to even begin… it was a simple move from old to new house. The only semi complex aspect was exchanging the old fridge for new fridge to the new house. After getting cancelled 10min before the arrival date due to hurricane Ian (understandable), they moved the date from a Friday to a Monday. On Monday the 4 man team showed up with just 3 guys (and we are paying by the hour). Within an hour of work 1 of the 3 guys quits. So we are now paying an hourly rate for 2 guys to move a house vs 4.

Do you want to read an awful story about this company? If so, indulge me for a couple of minutes. We have great friends that scheduled this company to come move them at 8am on 6/29 since they needed to be out of the house on 6/30 for closing. Nevertheless, the movers didn’t show up until 430pm. After examining that the home was a full-day move, hence the initial plan to start at 8am, the movers told our friends that they could not complete the move and would need to come back in 5 days.
