A warning to all, do not use All My Sons Moving & Storage. Terrible terrible service. TLDR, they mis-scheduled our service, tried to raise our rates after rescheduling, bumped the reschedule the day before, then damaged our biggest priority item and DOUBLED our original estimate anyway. First, they incorrectly scheduled our moving date (despite communicating several times over the phone and in explicit text), and then canceled it without reaching out.

Horrible. Given the run around all day just to find out that JARED cancelled our truck early that morning and we spoke to him twice and he assured us that a truck was coming at 2pm-2:30 (we were originally booked for noon, we booked a month in advance) they lied and said they called us abd heard yelling so hung up and canceled this is a complete lie as we never even recieved a call (Marie is the one who said this lie about calling) this is the most unprofessional and stressful experience I’ve ever had with a paid…

While packing the furniture in the bedroom, a lot of cash and jewelry was stolen from a purse that was in the closet. After making a police report ant filing a claim, they have decided they have done nothing wrong and have refused to investigate further. I have now heard from other people this has also happened to. DO NOT USE. THIEVES!!!
Would rate 0 if I could.. The entire moving process was horrible. The original movers we booked canceled last minute, so we ended up with two guys coming from Hammond. But when they arrived, only one of them was actually working. The other was hanging around in the truck, smoking a cigarette and sliding down the ramp like it was a joke. We were being charged by the hour for three movers, but only two showed up—and only one was doing any work.
Recognizing where we missed the mark is vital, and we genuinely apologize for any frustration caused. Customer satisfaction and going above and beyond is our utmost priority. We would love the opportunity to better understand the situation.
DO NOT choose this company. The workers themselves were polite and timely and careful. They even helped put a new bed frame together for me that I had shipped to the new house. HOWEVER, the company ensured me that 2 moving men and 1 truck was fine for my pretty big 1 bedroom upstairs apartment… It was definitely not enough.
Today, I expected movers for the afternoon. Communication is seriously lacking. As a business owner myself, I would never leave my clients in the dark on time, especially for the day of. I deal with wedding days and this company deals with moving days, but taking all that aside- COMMUNICATION is essential. I'm 6.5 months pregnant, had everything ready to go, and awaited patiently from 11 am until 7 pm for a call, text, email...something. I have to be moved out by the end of this week.
At All My Sons Moving, we hold ourselves to the highest standards when it comes to serving our community. We are sincerely disappointed in any inconvenience or disappointment you may have experienced during your recent move with us.
If I had the chance to rate this company on a ZERO that’s what I’d give! I told them upfront the amount of things I had. Called them asking if we could have more than one truck that kept telling us they didn’t need. Their crew of 6 showed up. We were 3 people. So 9 of us total. Out of their 6 one basically stood on the side lines smoking cigarettes. They showed up hours late. 3 hours into the process. The girl that was wrapping furniture in the house looked at the truck that was quickly running out of room.
We are deeply disappointed that we have failed to exceed your expectations while using our move services, and we extend our heartfelt apologies, Butterfly. Providing exceptional service has always been at the core of our mission.
If I could give them 0 starts I would after the way they handled my grandfathers move. They didn't show up til after 930, took them 5 hours to load a 3 bedroom house with 4 guys and a 26 ft truck. They "couldn't fit" the washer/dryer/deep freeze because of the way they packed the truck. They require payment prior to off loading and they "estimated" it would only take them 2.5 hours to unload but the new house also had a set of stairs to get inside so not sure where they got their math from.
We are sorry. Your experience most certainly doesn’t align with the high standard of service we aim to deliver. Without insights like this, All My Sons Moving and Storage cannot improve. To gain deeper understanding of the specific issues you faced, please give us the opportunity to speak with you.

Theolois, Jachius, and Jairus made our complicated move from Baton Rouge to the suburbs of New Orleans less stressful. They were courteous, efficient, pleasant to work with, and provided exceptional customer service. We had multi stories at our origin and destination location and they problem solved to get all of our furniture and belongings where they needed to be and without breaking anything. I would recommend this specific team of movers.
