All My Sons Moving & Storage

Never use this moving company! I recently hired this moving company to help me move to my new home, and it was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a moving company. To start, the movers showed up late and high on drugs. I asked the company to send other movers or send a manager, but they refused. The movers also broke my $900 TV and scratched my dryer control panel. They have not responded to my claim or offered to compensate me for the damage.

I would not recommend All my Sons. I had so many of my items damaged and scratched they treated my stuff like they didn’t care at all. They even broke one of my desks completely in half. I also see that there is another review on here that said that they had stolen some items from them. I had a PlayStation and Nintendo switch, stolen from them. When I tried to contact them about it I just kept getting a “we will look into it and call you back”. But no one has every gotten back to me. They also tried to deny it.

Update: As can be seen the owner responded to my original review with a number to call and an email to get in touch with the care team. I am beginning to believe this is a total scam. I have emailed twice, once two weeks ago and again four days ago and have called the number twice, sat on hold for 20 minutes both times and no response. While it may look like this business follows up on their complaints, it appears that is not the case.

I'm giving two stars solely for the helpfulness of the two customer service representatives I spoke with today. I called to request a quote for an 8.1-mile move from North Austin to Georgetown, only to be informed that the company doesn't service Georgetown. This was surprising since your website indicates otherwise. The representatives themselves seemed confused by this discrepancy as they said "we for sure service this area" Perhaps this is a recent change that hasn't been updated online yet?

Horrible damage to majority of my possessions disregard for quality and after being over charged on my credit card i had on file with them for the initial deposit for my move had to argue the price back to the orignal agreement. There are a ton of hidden fees associated with this company that they DO NOT clarify intitally. I highly recommend that you read every line of the digital agreement they provide you at the time they arrive asking for your signature.

Hired all my sons to complete a move for me on Thursday, was encouraged to get three movers due to my apartment being on the third floor. The third mover did almost nothing but sit on his phone which I caught him several times on, it dragged out the move over a span of four hours when it definitely felt it could’ve been completed sooner if everyone had worked (which is what I was paying an extra person for!). One if my movers was even wearing crocs, which did not seem like the appropriate foot wear for a move.

Overall the job was mostly done but there were a handful of boxes that were left. These boxes were shown to the team, but were still not taken. A handful of items were left, but I’m not sure why they weren’t as they were not on the list of items that cannot be moved. Some of these items: - a table frame was moved but not the glass top that was with it - a table top vanity mirror - a large printed canvas wall set piece - 1 decorated storage box was taken but not the one that was on top of it.

My moving experience with All My Sons made me realize I should’ve hired Two Men and Truck like I normally do … I scheduled my move and junk removal services several weeks in advance. The entire week leading up to my Saturday move, they called changing the arrival time; one day it was between 8:30-9:30, the next day it was 11-2 and it fluctuated depending on the day. The day of my move, they push out their confirmed arrival time to late afternoon.
