All My Sons Moving & Storage

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with this moving company. Their business practices and level of professionalism need significant improvement. When I booked my move, I was told that two movers could complete a second-floor, two-bedroom apartment in approximately two hours. However, the experience was nothing like what I was promised. The movers did not arrive until after 3:00 p.m., even though dispatch told me my scheduled arrival window was between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

I will never go with this moving company again for the simple fact that they didn’t pack any of my belongings correctly. I paid for for a full pack and their service was terrible. Also, they somehow ran out of packing supply but I paid over $800 for it. I had a 2B / 2B plus I had already packed some boxes of my own so something isn’t adding up right! The service they provided wasn’t $800 worth. My mattress and ottoman is now stained and all of my drinking glasses are broken.

Erin, Hakeem, Ron were very pleasant to meet when they arrived. They were very professional and courteous their entire visit. The move though heavy was accomplished with no problems. Thanks for such good support in getting the piano to it's new owners! This is all BS. They played hostage games for more money after arriving at the delivery point! So sad...

I really wanted to have a positive experience because everyone I spoke with was friendly, but unfortunately the service didn't live up to what I was promised. When I booked the move, I was quoted **$135/hour for two movers and a truck**. I was also told they would bring the necessary tools and handle all furniture disassembly and reassembly. However, when they arrived, they hadn't brought any tools at all.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE OFFERED A DISCOUNT!!!!!! I chose this company because it is supposed to be “reputable”. The company canceled my move, automatically, the day of my move, and I NEVER got a cancellation notice. This was after I called and confirmed my move only days ago. They told me today a friend called to cancel when I don’t have any friends here. I BOOKED AND SENT A DEPOSIT more than a month before my move for 127/hr for 2 movers.

From the start this move was a mess. The person on the phone was very nice, she said we’d have 3 people moving us (since we’d be moving to the 3rd floor, 3 people were required), and that they’d be showing up sometime around 12-3pm. The day of, we wait for them to show up, it’s past 3. I call the movers (who were very nice and I feel bad they had to go through this mess), who say they’d be here around 4-5pm, and that there were only going to be 2 of them. 5pm passes, and I call the movers again.

During the consultation I was highly impressed by the knowledge the company was supposed to have when moving equipment and furniture. Everything was a lie. When the gentlemen arrived they got straight to work and were very well mannered however the move results were horrible. BOTH beds were literally thrown together to appear put together. They tucked slats for one bed under a dresser so that we wouldn’t see them. The other bed they didn’t install the supportive beams and left most of the slats unattached.

I recently hired All My Sons for a local move due to their competitive pricing when gathering quotes. The process leading up to the move was simple and straight forward and their customer service team was very friendly. All three of the young men were very friendly as well and hardworking. Though they worked fairly quickly, their haste may have contributed to the damage to some of our furniture. There was also damage to the walls and wooden spindles of the rental house we were moving out of.
