All My Sons Moving & Storage

The 2 young men they sent were so slow while moving boxes and furniture I wanted to jump up and help. They arrived at 2:30, took about 3 hours to load (not using the ramp) and at the new house took about an hour and half (using the ramp). Done at 7:30. I was told at time of booking it should take three hours and about $500. The new guy complained the entire time and neither had no idea how to pack a truck. Told them of very heavy boxes, they put some in top of other boxes and crushed them in.

My moving experience was far from what I expected. I booked two moves with All My Sons; the first from my condo into a storage unit, and the second from the storage unit to a new property. As per the obvious, the new property was the final destination. I paid two deposits, one for each move. The first move my items (including many beautiful wood pieces and antiques) were wrapped and sealed tightly and carefully loaded into the truck under my supervision.

I was charged almost $1500 dollars for my move due to undisclosed charges. They took 4 hours to load a truck for a 2 bedroom apt with very little boxes and not much furniture and only 40 min to unload because at that point they were done milking the clock. One of the movers was very VERY rude. My adjustable base was not treated with care and the fabric on top of it was damaged.

We hired All My Sons to move us out of state for our last military move. Two of the movers based out of the Tampa office completely destroyed many of our items, likely due to the constant “smoke” breaks they were taking in their vehicle outside of our house. I’m unsure which was most frustrating, the smell of marijuana filling our home after their smoke breaks, watching them DRAG literal furniture down the stairs, or seeing two of the members leave the job early leaving the two crew members from out of state to…

First of all, the actual guys doing the moving (Mike, Cody, Adrian and John) were absolute rock stars moving me from my 2nd floor apartment to my new ground floor home, in the rain. They wrapped and taped everything beautifully, never complained, had great manners and didn’t take any breaks, not even for the bathroom. To be fair, my move took 2 hours longer than quoted but I had been quoted an hourly rate.

Overpriced and disappointing. I'm not sure why the reviews are so high for this company. Prior to the move, it was difficult for me to get in contact with customer service. This company charged me over $1,000 to move a small 1 bedroom apartment 30 minutes away. I had a such small amount of items to move that the truck they used basically empty.Also, the movers forgot reattach my mirror to my dresser. The movers stated the final estimate routinely shocks people.

I’ve used this company before with no issues. However, I used them for a move today from a two-story townhouse to a storage unit and it was terrible. First of all, they showed up with no tools. How do they expect to bring headboards and bed frames downstairs if you can’t take them apart? They asked ME for an Allen wrench and I don’t have one because all my stuff is packed up…you know, because I’m moving. So one headboard couldn’t be moved because they couldn’t remove it from the frame.

I was quoted one price which showed a combined labor and travel rate of $159 hourly. Which was never informed or listed in the estimate as a separate labor and separate travel charge. when we reached the final address they wouldn’t offload the truck without payment. One of the movers said, “They can’t even touch or start to unload without final payment, and that is the rules.” They requested that I gave them authorization for final payment without notifying me of final cost and before the job is complete.
