Honest review! It was my first time hiring someone to move a piano. It was a bad experience and very unprofessional! We had a miscommunication. Although I already said the piano was on the second floor and they would move it into a one story house, unfortunately, the lady, Ginger on the phone didn't understand me. They should have confirmed with the people at the pickup location to avoid this kind of situation, but they didn't.
I waited to write this review hoping to hear back about a damage claim, but at this point it appears I’ve been ghosted. I’ve moved more than 10 times over the last 15+ years and have never had an experience this bad. To start, the owner took a 30–45 minute personal phone call in the middle of the move. Meanwhile, the crew moved at a glacial pace, some browsing their phones while walking between the truck and the house. The move took a few hours longer than estimated, which made our fee much higher than expected.
I contacted Bob for my local move and he came to look at the goods and gave me an estimate of 125 dollars / hour . I did not negotiate and agreed on the price. On the day of the move , 2 middle aged and one elderly man came and worked at a very slow pace to pack the stuff . I kept requesting a faster pace but they paid no heed to it .
Worst Moving Company - Do not use them at all - We booked them for 2pm , we called and confirm at 1.30 they said we will be there in 15 mins - No one showed up for 1 hour so we called them again and the office said they stopped for lunch will be there shortly - okay we waited for another hour and called and they said well we have a misunderstanding they are finishing other job it will be another hour (ETA 5:30pm) - I mean seriously They wasted our weekend and screwed us up Never hire them - very unprofessional
