I hired Allstar Moving to load my POD for a 1300 mile move. I dealt with Jay, who is the manager. Before I booked them I asked if they were insured and he reassured me that they were. However, when I called today to advise that when the POD was unloaded and a leg was broken off one of my nightstands (because they were not taken off when they loaded), and my upholstered headboard has a grease stain on one side and a tear on the other (b/c it was not fully covered), Jay immediately denied saying that the integrity…

I have used Allstar Movers in the past and they were great, moved everything in a timely manner, however, they did not handle my furniture very carefully. my couches had black scuffs and they dragged the bottom of my linen couch across concrete. This last time I used them, they removed the drawers from my dresser, and now my underwear missing, I will no longer use them because of this. Single women, do not use them! If you do, be very vigilant, and have someone that you trust with you!
We have searched our records and can’t find any record of our company performing any work for you. It’s possible that whoever moved you could have used our name. We would love for you to call us so we can figure out what may have happened. Thanks Jay

I guess you get what you pay for. The company took my deposit, real fast. I kept in communication so no surprises and flexible on the items/price as I didn't get the keys to the new place when I expected and I didn't get to move as much as I'd liked. The day of the move they call, I added some guitar speaker cabs and some misc items I forgot to mention, vacuum, cleaning supplies, pictures/paintings off the wall, So I was upfront saying that there is more than expected and adjust accordingly.

Worst move I’ve ever experienced! My mattress and box spring are filthy with torn spots. It looks like they riled it in dirt and this set looked brand new having never been moved since it was originally bought and placed on my bed. White sofa is filthy. Legs on sewing table broken off. Dining room chair broken. Worst thing is I was told washer and dryer were ready to go and flooded my newly laid floor. Manager told me not their fault because they’re not plumbers.

Please DO NOT use Allstar Moving! I am so devastated! During the move they broke the bed rail on my bed. I have a very expensive bedroom set from Howell’s Furniture. The owner did bring our bed rails to have them repaired so hopefully the fix will last. Fast forward a year and half later. Our new home is finally complete so we move our furniture and appliances out of storage into our new home. We discover almost every piece of furniture is scratched/damaged! How can you damage every piece!

Jay sounds very nice on the phone but (BEWARE) he is not at all, He is from( Vidor )and treats his employees like slaves. He came to my house before the job was completed asking for the payment, I said do you always get paid before the service is finished, He claimed he wanted to give me a receipt.I have used this company before and no one came to get paid before the job was completed and he was paid in full, Please do not support this company, This man reminds me of somebody you would have did business with back…
I had 4 BR to 4 BR, their truck was for 3 BR. Took 12 hours. Pulled drawers out and left on floor of old home. Didn't remove saran wrap. I continued moving 1 wk after overpaying them. I would not recommend this company 😐 …

Amazing experience with Allstar Moving. We had to move our daughter from one apartment to another very last minute. We contacted Jay and he was able to squeeze us in the schedule right away. The communication was great and the guys who did the move were professional, efficient and very conscientious of all the details. Would highly recommend them!!
