IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PIANO, YOU SHOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE HIRING THESE GUYS. WE THOUGHT THAT YOU COULD TRUST THEM TO MOVE OUR PIANO. THEY SHOWED UP WITH ONLY 2 GUYS (THEY PROMISED 4) AND FRED HAD TO APOLOGIZED THAT A 3RD PERSON WAS DRUNK THE NIGHT BEFORE AND COULD NOT WORK. THEY DAMAGED OUR PIANO DURING THE MOVE. AND WHEN WE COMPLAINED, FRED HAD THE BALLS TO HANG UP ON US. THIS WILL NOT BE THE END OF THIS STORY. FRED RESPONDED TO MY REVIEW.
Dear readers, I did in fact move an old grand piano for Jesse Arteche on Persimmon Way in Springfield NJ. I promised to move the piano on the such day and kept my promise in … More
We are trying to buy a brand new U1, so we come to this store because the great reviews on google. It was so disappointed. When we come into the store, the sale person is ignore us. After few minutes he finally come, but the attitude was not nice. We just feel that he doesn’t care his customers. After we discuss the price, and he told us he doesn’t have piano tuner in Queens and he only can give us$50 off to find tuner by ourself, but We still decided to buy it.
I am happy you found a piano at Forte, the owners name is Vladimir and he is such a nice person I’ve known him for years..in fact we are even FB friends. What you didn’t know is that my store has cameras all over and the video tells a … More
My daughters came in to look at the pianos because my youngest plays piano, they went to go upstairs to look at the pianos. One of the employees yells at them to come down because the pianos are too expensive for them to look at. He says “the pianos are over 20,000 dollars if you don’t have that then you can’t go upstairs.” This establishment has very poor customer service and very disrespectful.
We are very sorry you feel your daughters had an unpleasant experience at our store. However, we do not allow unaccompanied minors free reign of our store. Our inventory is for sale. We are a retail store, not a museum or a playground. … More
I called to enquire about a product and the person who answered was extremely rude and even hung up on me! I am shopping for a used piano and wanted their advice, so maybe that was beneath them to help, but I would seriously consider shopping in a place like that. They may be nice and helpful when you are buying, but then beware of customer service when you really need them.
Ms. Raban, I repeatedly tried to tell you that we do not appraise privately used pianos over the telephone. When I felt your phone conversation became belligerent towards us I decided to hang up the phone instead of taking more of what I … More
My mother bought a Pearl River Piano that the guy advertised to me as high quality for upwards of $5000, aparently today she called a piano tuner to check out what was wrong with it and it appears that the piano was made in china and had low quality materials in it. He said he could buy a better piano for $2000. Would not shop here again. Scammers
I am sorry that your Mother is having an issue. We aren't able to trace a purchase to the name KUZNETSOV. We feel Pearl River is an excellent value for the money although you tuner is entitled to their own opinion. Pearl River also … More

In their own words
Very friendly. Moved my piano from my parents place to my new home at a great price. Thanks again guys!
Very satisfied with the service we received from Mark in the store and smooth delivery from Fred the owner and Don. Mark was very patient explaining the history of piano making and the different models they carry to us. Fred and Don was on time for delivery and made the experience as good as it can be. Thank you guys!!
Altenburg Piano House provided wonderful customer service. I was impressed with their communication, delivery, and all aspects of the service.
Thank you! We really do appreciate customers taking the time to rate us favorably.
Not only completely professional, but gracious and helpful. Fred and Mark spent as much time as it took to make sure I had the right product (Viscount Legend organ), then, they went the extra step. Fred personally delivered the keyboard to my home over an hour away from the store. This is the way business used to be. Just doesn’t get any better than this.
