I so wanted to be amazed by this company based on the reviews but I wasn't. The representative of the company came to my home and walked around and wrote up an estimate of the cost based on how many cubic feet he thought we needed. He also convinced my husband and I that moving out a month earlier than we originally wanted to was absolutely doable and he and his people would help. He knew we had quotes from other companies, my husband told him what they were, and he came in at 1/2 the cost.
I am very unpleased with the services.I was quoted and upon arrival was charged DAM near 3 times the quote!!!!!! Not to mention I'M still waiting for my furniture for 4 days now. Customer service reps haven't helped with with ETA of my furniture. I remained on hold for 10 minutes. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!!!!!

I’ve moved business offices and private homes over the decades — American Movers is the best. The team that helped with moving, wrapping and storing furniture and boxes were timely, professional, efficient, careful and had a positive attitude. Adam who coordinated everything was accommodating of my tight deadline and delivered on everything he promised. Highly recommend this company.
I am in the property preservation business. American Movers has handled all my NJ evictions for the past 3-4 years. I have never had an issue with them. Responsive, on time, and reasonable pricing. Great work guys!
This company was referred to me by a family member who had a great experience using their services. The 3 man crew of Andre, Jason and Carl were professional and efficient during my move and handled all my property with care. I would definitely recommend them for your moving needs.
Eric was nice to coordinate our move with. He was patient while we were in flux with our living situation. The team of three men that moved us were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend them and use them again myself.
