Completely unprofessional and careless – avoid Patriot Movers Patriot was the moving company hired by MoveSafe Relocation to handle our move — and they were a disaster from start to finish. They arrived over 6 hours late, threw off our entire schedule, and pressured us to pay $100 in tips per mover (3 people), which was never disclosed beforehand. Ten days later, they showed up with a truck — but it wasn’t even our stuff. They were unloading another family’s belongings at our door.

Absolutely disgusted with this business. We said we would probably have 50 boxes worth of stuff we needed moved. He said we wouldn’t need that many boxes so he wrote down 25 boxes without consulting us. Well turns out we were right and needed 50 boxes. The extra boxes they said we ‘didn’t need’ would cost another $5,000 to move. We were originally quoted $6,000. The movers called at 8:00am and said they would arrive at our house at 10:00am.
I’d give Patriot an ZERO rating if I could. Absolutely the WORST moving experience of the 9 states we’ve moved in and out of in the last 30 years! Most of our moves were job relocations. This move was on our own. Patriot knew the storage measurements and gave us a binding quote. I few days before the move, after we already made a deposit, they called and stated they miscalculated and it would be an additional $2500. We told them we had a binding agreement.

One of the worst experiences I haver had, I was lied to more than once and had to help because the driver showed up without a helper.there ended up being holes and scratches in my walls as well as scratches in my floor. I was not told that it would take up to 3 weeks to get my things to the new house until my things were getting picked up. My things were all mixed up with other peoples things and could see damage before anything was even taken off the truck.
Used Patriot Relocation to move long distance. The movers were very professional and kind, but the company is impossible to deal with. Unable to get a receipt for my charges after emailing them for 2 weeks. Last minute charges they don't disclose in the estimate they give. It cost us more than double our estimate for the move. Do not recommend.
