Always Moving

I would not even give them one star. I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother and father. First, my mother had her move planned weeks in advance. The day of her move they call her to tell her the truck broke down and they will not be able to do the move. Meanwhile my mother only had that one day to get out and into her new house. So she calls me crying saying she has nobody now last minute. I told her don't worry my husband and his brother will come and help.

I left 3 messages over the course of 3 days, and never got a call back. So I guess they didn't need my business. I moved on and got a much better result from someone else. Based on that, I would not recommend these guys. There are other companies out there who value their potential customers.

What a waste of time. No show on moving day. Never answered none of my calls on move day. Me and my bro had to rent a truck last minute and do it ourselves. What a joke. I called them cause of the reviews. The people who posted those reviews must have been hired to give good ratings. I learned my lesson. Get real professionals or have family do it for you.

Do not use! Movers stole my $400 patent leather Jordan’s, broke my washer and grabbed my butt while moving me while I’m 9 months pregnant! Was rainy that day so they took an hour break to seee if the weather would lighten up but it didn’t and they still charged me the hour THEY took a break! $1100! I called the office to make the complaints and the man in the phone literally stated he would just send me a claims sheet to make a claim but told me over the phone that they would not be paying out anything.

Appointment time was 2-ish. When I contacted them at 2:30 He said "Our first appointment had way more stuff than they told us so we are going to be late and might be able to get to me by 5 (not sure). I asked if he could recommend another moving company. After calling the other companies I called Always Moving back to see if they could make it around 5 PM. He said it looks like it will be 6 or 7 and then after a heated conversation he hung up on me. I called another company to schedule for the next day.

I dont even want to give them a star. Very unprofessional. I was never told they charge for travel back to their home base only travEl time to my house so that was 15 mins tackled on my time on top of the 15 mins they decided to charge me from traveling from the last person they moved even though I was told I wouldn't be. So I paid them for 2 1/2 hours should have been only 2! The one mover was in a rush to leave because he had to move himself so my job was rushed. Things were just dumped anywhere in the house.

After emailing back and forth with the owner of Always Moving, I scheduled to move a piano on 3/26 at 1:30 pm. At 12:00 noon, the company contacted me, and told me that the movers were at the property and ready to move the piano now. Unfortunately, the home owner was not home or available until 1:00. The company refused to wait for our 1:30 appointment. They cancelled on the spot and sent their movers home.

I had a terrible experience with Always Moving in Rochester, NY. During our move, several pieces of furniture were destroyed, walls and doors were scraped, and several items went missing, including gaming consoles, video games, and two irreplaceable necklaces. On top of that, I personally witnessed the movers allegedly snorting a substance off my dresser, which was appalling behavior. Their conduct was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I wish that we never let them in our home.
